Ever since I got very sick while traveling, I never travel without a filtered water bottle, and this one is great, I like the way the top screws on. On occasions when I don't need to filter the water, I just take out the filter and use the water bottle by itself. Highly recommended

This bottle worked perfectly for filtering stream water while hiking in Patagonia. Be careful opening it on a plane though, as the change in cabin pressure can turn the spout into a fountain (it helps to loosen the entire lid before taking the straw cap off). Overall, a great buy for hiking and travel in general.

A little hard to suck but filtered all water in Ecuador for 2 weeks. Cant get filtered water out into anything else (to add electrolytes etc) , only into your mouth. So it’s not like my backpacking water filters but worked great for rural areas. No bad taste like their collapsible series.It does get under pressure and the water squirts out when you take the cap off which I dont love.

Filled the bottle yesterday and went for a hike! It was easy to hang from my pack. The lid was very well thought out! Clean tasteless odorless water. Amazing product.

I far and away preferred my older version of this life straw bottle (loved it!!! & told others to buy it-). This new style is squirting me, dripping water on my lap, and the fine print says to blow into the spigot to prevent that? Then dry the whole top area before replacing cap. I maintain really good dental hygiene, but this spigot smells odd quickly/ the soft plastic needs frequent cleaning with soap1 are you kidding.

Purchased this bottle for a trip to Argentina. It has been nothing short of amazing. Some hotels haven’t had a mini-bar so filling it up in the bathroom sink and knowing it’s filtered has been a godsend. Don’t think there’s any issue with the tap water here but having the peace of mind, in case of any emergency, is great.

I like the size, the color, the fact that it makes airport water taste better and filters out all kinds of things.I don't like that it's very difficult to unscrew the entire lid once it's on, which is something you definitely have to do on an airplane or endure water spraying all over from pressure built up in the straw. It's also very challenging to sip the water through the straw, without really pursing your lips, and over time would give you the dreaded "smoker lines" on someone who doesn't smoke. I'm disappointed in the product, although I really wanted to love it.

Seems like pressure builds up and most times water spews out of the mouthpiece on opening. Can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve been soaked from this! Even when there’s only a tiny bit of water in it - terrible
