I used these lights for a comedy night event at a social club. They were great. Putting a round mirror below them accentuates the lovely lights.

The only reason i am giving them 4 stars is because they didn't fan out for me, i tried hard! Other than that, great lights, beautiful colors, they lasted all 5 hours of the party and survived in perfect shape a lot of mistreatment from teens, I'll buy them again!

Given the mixed reviews, I was hesitant to order. They turned out to be great. The bases were sturdy and none toppled over. I had none of the problems cited in other reviews, they all assembled easily and they all worked. I used them as centerpieces on smaller tables (6 seats) and they were perfect. If using a large 10-seat table you may want to consider something bigger. They are way better in the dark, they're not as effective in a brightly lit room. The color combinations are great, keep hitting the button for different effects. Since my party theme was "space", I had all the colors set to fade in and out. Very cool. They are re-usable so I have a few left that I plan to use for the holidays (set to red & green). I was flattered that people wanted to take them so about half of the 12-pack went home with the guests. Lastly, set them up a couple of days in advance so the fibers fan out and droop a bit, otherwise they'll stand up straight and spikey. Either way, they were dramatic, easy and cheap centerpieces. They performed better than I expected.

We have these out as awards for our sons bar mitzvah after the dance off or whatever other DJ related competition. Kids loved it!

We bought these for a dinner where the theme of the message was going to be about light. These did not disappoint. They're not super big, but not small. Extremely easy to assemble. The only thing was they came with no directions, and at first, I thought they were broken because the on/off switch at the bottom was not there. But then I realized there was another very small button that worked. I also had to play with it to figure out I could do one color or different color patterns. But it didn't take long to figure out and for the incredible price, I didn't mind taking a little time to figure out the directions for myself.

Put together easily but some kept coming apart from the base. I probably could have glued the 2 pieces together, but from the first one I put together the fiberoptic strands kept falling out, even setting it on the table I would walk by and see strands that had fallen out, like a shedding animal! I have grandkids that want to pick them up or turn them on and off, the shedding strands posed a risk for curious hands so I never used them. Poor quality.

They look great but are difficult to fan out. As you fan them out (according to the directions), the little plastic sticks break off. It came as two 6 packs and I noticed that one pack was a little more brittle than the other. Also, one did not work. I had to take it apart because there was a loose wire. The wire was supposed to be welded in place but they did a bad job with welding. Since I don't have a welding tool, I taped it in place. (I only knew where the wire should go because I took apart one that was working).

Los utilice como centro de mesa y funcionaron bien. Solo le tuve que cambiar la bateria a 1 porque se le habia removido el plastico protector y se gastó la bateriaEn general esta bien por el precio. Solo que son un poco delicados al manipularlos
