I bought this artificial aquarium partly to entertain my cats but also to calm me down when I am anxious. It is very pleasant to watch the fish "swim" around and it is not noisy at all, at least mine isn't. I have read reviews from buyers that say it is kind of noisy but I can barely hear it. One thing I did notice was how flimsy the power cord is and it is not UL rated or listed and that sort of worried me since anything that plugs into an outlet really should be more sturdy and have that UL sticker on it since it is pulling electric current, but I think as long as you don't keep it on for hours at a time it is safe enough. Plug does not get warm so I'm not too concerned about it. I would not, however, leave it unattended when in use. Overall I am very happy with it.

I’ve been thinking constantly about my old childhood lamps, i used to own the original version of this lamp, and LOVED IT. some nights it was the only thing to help me sleep at night, and especially in my own bed.This product is good! It’s definitely the exact same materials as it was back in 2006, just more expensive sadly. It looks stunning, and the light is fish tank bright, but not overbearing so it’s definitely a good option for a kids bedroom, like i said it was my favorite lamp growing up as a kid.The noise is super dim, it’s like this rhythmic tapping with a few movement(?) noises every once and while from the film moving around the track, however, again, loved this as a kid and this noise was basically my entire childhood, so it doesn’t bother me.the size is perfect for a night side table, however, i chose to put mine on my dresser facing me so i can see it at night.*ONLY* downside i noticed was this darker blue streak across the connecting points of the spinning film, (shown in photo)i distinctly remember my old 2000’s one having a similar type of line but it was FAR smaller and almost unnoticeable, i love it for what it is so ill just deal with it, but that could be a good update in manufacturing that company could possibly do.

Alright I’m coming to give another update. What is going ON!!! I got my replacement in this morning, I plugged it in and YAY the light works! But now it doesn’t spin. This product is so mid guys, I’ve tried ordering TWICE and each time it has been broken in some way. I don’t know what the deal is!! I’m so frustrated and bummed out! Don’t buy this, don’t support this company, it came broken TWICE!! Giving up on my frutiger aero aesthetic dreams. UGH!! :(Another update, my girlfriend took it apart and the cords inside of it aren’t long enough to be touching what they need to touch?? So it’s just made incredibly cheap?? Is there ANY type of product testing before they are shipped out? Like literally just plug it in guys :/Original reviewI opened it and immediately wanted to plug In to relive my 2000s childhood memories, and the light doesn’t work at all :(It just spins… which is great, bc the original light I kept from my childhood doesn’t spin anymore, but it still lights up. Thought I could use this as a replacement, but now I just have two broken lamps :((For reference, the one made in 2005 lasted me into my adult life, just recently burning out)

This was cute and helped my son sleep better when we put it next to his bed, but the fish stopped moving and it started making a horrible noise instead. I wish it lasted longer.

Produkt wird in Deutschland angeboten obwohl es mit einem US-Stecker ( 110V) nur betrieben werden kann. Habe mir extra einen Adapterstecker kaufen müssen um das Gerät auszuprobieren mit dem Ergebnis, die Fischfolie dreht sich nicht mit. Ursache ist die zu große Folie, die von dem Mitnehmer nicht mehr gezogen werden kann.Ich frage mich warum ein solches Produkt in Deutschland angeboten wird, obwohl man seitens des Lieferanten im Vorfeld weiß, das es nicht ohne Adapter elektrisch angeschlossen werden kann.
