I had a standard circular electrical ceiling box where I wanted a track light. This made it easy to cover the hole without having to change the box and drywall over it to accommodate a the original track width wiring box the track came with. The kit came with an end cap so the original wiring box could be removed entirely.

If you have rudimentary knowledge of electrical work, this will not be hard to install. The directions left a lot to be desired, but I figured it out.4 stars for being unclear in the directions.

Ordered a black option and it came with what looked like cut off drywall screws with white paint. Not even the correct thread for an electric box. I assume those screws were intended for mounting the cover, but even still there was missing screws to mount the plate to the box.There was also several blatant spelling errors in the instructions. Sending it back for a refund. I don’t trust it would be correct if I asked for a replacement.
