Awesome quality. Super handy too! If you're a DIYer like me, and you do the occasional electrical, this device is superb for keeping your wiring organized.Realistically, you could probably use it for small gauge rope as well. It was a little bit confusing at first, but after looking at the directions, it's extremely straightforward. If you used to working with your hands, you shouldn't have any issue figuring out how to put your wire inside seal it up and wind it up.I'm ordering three more right now. I need one for my positive wires and I'm going to get two more for my dad for his shop. Did I mention how high quality the metal is on it!? It's super nice. Honestly, for the price and what you're getting out of it, it's a steal! It's heavy duty and robust as well, not super heavy but a good comfortable weight all the same. I'm going to design a rigging to mount this on my wall in my workshop. A flat aluminum bar should do just fine!

Una compra que no me arrepiento, no es el mejor de la industria de construcción pero sà muy práctico, asimila al original de marca, pero si es mucho mejor que los carrete o yoyó convencionales . Fácil y práctico de usar . Se los recomiendo a ojo cerrado

I’m by no means a Rod Buster, but I do use tie wire on the job and other projects. This tool is a little more than I bargained for. It is a heavy duty quality tool. I cannot imagine wearing this thing, full of wire on my work belt, it is heavy empty and adding wire is just heavier. I did put my tie wire in it and it worked just fine. I have a problem with band iron unraveling with me so I put the banding iron in this drum and it does let me feed it out without issue. I have spent countless hours with band iron uncoiling like a spring on me so this tool helps greatly. This tie wire reel may be light weight by standards of the trade of real rod busters, it is not what I would consider lightweight, it’s the real deal. It looks good and it’s made well and it has loops built in to put on a belt - for the real man. To me, for the money, this is an industrial strength tool, a lot of tool for the money.

This wire reel is made of strong metal and would take abuse in a construction setting. I find the metal case is bulky and heavy even without the weight of the wire to hang from a belt, but still convenient if you are doing a fair bit of tying. It could easily be used as a wall dispenser, which is what I will have for most of my use with tie wire as it makes it easy to pull out what you need and cut it off.

Originally I was hoping this could help wind up ethernet cables, but based on how it secures the wires, there's no way to lock a thicker cable in place as the lid needs to clamp down on the same spot.The wheel uses 4 grooves in the center to bite the wire, and so only thinner wires work.Build quality is good though, its completely made of metal, though some parts are sharp and feel like they might cut.
