For the purpose of cutting deer bones it was ok , not enough torque behind it ,, it eventually cut through the bones but it took a minute battery life was not quite there although the battery wasn’t fully charged 3/4 charged I would say

Nice little saw for someone that only occasionally need to use one at a price that can’t be beat. Dewalt version is what I bought and reviewing.The motor is pretty strong on this saw so buy and bring extra batteries because it powers through them fast. Get good blades and this saw has made easy work of cutting hardens steel and aluminum metal, lumber wood, plywood and tree branches for me so far and still going strong.PS a bigger battery will make it heavier but keep you from changing and charging multiple batteries.

I really like this tool. Other than the funky orange/yellow color, I think it was a good buy for me.Here are things I liked:1) Very good speed control with the Variable Speed Control Trigger.2) The overall fit and finish of the tool is good and is enhanced by the black/soft touch over molded areas.3) My genuine Dewalt batteries fit perfectly. Aftermarket replacement batteries fit only so-so.4) The tool is well balanced and easy to use.5) I paid $36 + tax for the tool. A great value!
