It is an off white color and the cotton is easy to work with.Quality is amazing and works well for wash clothes. It does not split when yarning or frogging.

I love this cotton yarn. It is perfect for dishrags, hand towels, blankets, and washrags. It washes well, and in the case of the white cotton, I lightly bleach my knitted towel if needed. I have a device that holds the cone and spins as I knit, which is an ideal arrangement. I like the weight, and my friends like to receive items made from this yarn. This yarn is the perfect yarn for knitting hand made dishcloths. I love it. Easy to use. No need to get your tail in a spin over "winding" yarn into a ball! My eyes don't cross anymore! LOL

This is the first time I've used 100% cotton yarn, so I'm not sure if the characteristics of the yarn is specific to this brand or not. The yarn has 0 elasticity at all. It doesn't stretch, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, so there was a slight curve until I got used to working with it.First thing I noticed, and this is completely accidental, is that when I worked the yarn up it created a neat diamond pattern. Another thing is that the yarn tends to unravel as I work with it. I'm constantly catching individual threads of the yarn instead of the entire thing. No matter the tension I use, it will unravel and I keep having to redo stitches.I'm using the moss stitch so it drapes well and it's holding it's shape overall.

super product - great at making lots of hand towels to hang in kitchen or bathroom for hand wiping and adds colour to rooms- all of the gifts I gave to people have had all good and excellent comments on the yarn and how it washes well and does not stretch out of shape

Good, durable texture for knitting dish cloths. Colour is nice for holiday gifts.Somewhat easy to unwind from spool, and you don't need to make a ball.
