Our little ninjas love this course. Much happier with it then going the swingset route!

This was a great idea…but it really wasn’t a great design… it swings too much and it was so incredibly difficult to set up… would not recommend.

This review is for the Lily’s Things Double Slackline Course, Cargo Net Set, 80 foot line.It takes awhile to set up for the first time but will go up much more quickly the next time. We used 2 people and 2 ladders (actually a ladder and a 2-step stool) so that we wouldn’t need to drag one heavy ladder back and forth while adjusting the slackline; if you are setting this up for short kids, you might not need a ladder. The descriptions and videos both on Amazon and on the Lily’s Things website were helpful in choosing the best course for us and to install it correctly. Note that the 80 foot line is recommended for trees up to 35 feet apart, trees should be minimum 1 foot in diameter with no maximum as long as the line is long enough, and hang the line about 3.5 feet above the shortest ninja. I think that our trees are about 20 feet apart and we have some empty space for more equipment or to space it apart farther for teens or adults. Last installation tips 1) lay out the line and equipment on the ground and then string the hangers on the line to where you’ve approximated everything to go 2) get the line up but don’t snug it too tight 3) hang the equipment and adjust hangers 4) fully tighten the line 5) if you need to adjust the hangers again you need to loosen the line. Why I chose this Lily’s Things slackline:- double slackline GREATLY reduces sag (for real, I’m not just regurgitating what the the description says) even with a teen and adult plus 2 younger kids- double slackline allows for more of a true monkey bar experience; rings and bars do not need to be directly in line- the weight limit it great, 250 lbs per piece of equipment and 1000 pounds on the slackline- the company is a small family run business with a really good productWe’ve had our slackline up for over a month and will take it down over the winter. Overall this is a fantastic product with no negatives that I can see.

With a bustling multigenerational family and a spacious backyard to fill, we turned to Lily's Things Double Slackline Obstacle Course. This kit seemed like a great way to add some energetic fun to our outdoor space, and we were not disappointed. One of the things that struck me right off the bat was the thoughtful design. Unlike many similar products, this obstacle course boasts two slacklines, which provide more support and less sag or recoil for the hanging obstacles. This meant that when the kids dismounted, the obstacles stayed relatively still rather than bouncing and twisting – a definite plus in my book.Setting up the obstacle course was refreshingly straightforward. We could customize the positioning and distance of the different obstacles thanks to the unique buckle system. This allowed us to create a course that linked the kids' wooden play area to a fort-like platform on a big old tree. We also appreciated the flexibility to adjust the difficulty level by moving the line higher or lower, or setting the obstacles further apart. The "Cargo Net" and "Climbing Ladder" challenges added a fun twist to the course. Whether the kids were swinging to the next obstacle or trying to make it across the 'bridge', the laughter and excitement were contagious.I must mention that the commitment to safety is evident in this product. The materials used are of high quality and the equipment is designed to sustain high forces. We felt confident letting the grandkids play on it. For a family as big as ours, this assurance is priceless. In summary, Lily's Things Double Slackline Obstacle Course offers a fun, safe and flexible way to keep the kids (and some adults) active and entertained. It has transformed our backyard into an adventure ground where everyone wants to play.

I selected this for my kids as an alternative to the more common metal swing-set. This slackline course gives the kids options to do thing that many traditional swing-sets do not offer. The ability to configure the ladder as monkey bars is one of the cool options this set offers. The cargo net can also be configured multiple ways to make the obstacle course more or less challenging. What makes this stand out to me is that when my kids get bored with it I just reconfigure it and they are back to having a blast on it. Initial setup for this is certainly a two person job. The way the lines and mounting points have to be held up and adjusted would be very hard with one person. It took a couple tries of adjusting the spacing of obstacles and then readjusting once the lines were tightened to get everything correctly positioned. The kids love this and as long as I don't leave it up all winter I suspect it will last a long time.
