The product was perfect. I had two huge trees and this had no issue going around them. The Velcro held well too while I set up the slack line on top of it.

I used this to attach a plastic pad to a tree where our tree swing sometimes rubs. It’s protected the tree and the kiddos if they bump the tree. I wrapped it over the vinyl padding (gym mat) mat, and fastened the Velcro. Stays on in rain, wind, use, hot, cold for months….. it’s great. Good product. It’s thin. It’s not padded, but it’s weather proof and protects the tree. Good for deer too.

This may have been caused by me simply using the wrong type of rope for this type of friction padding, although the rope ate through the padding somehow. It was put on metal and the metal was slightly sharp so it may have just cut through it that way. Otherwise it worked perfectly fine for a while, I just may need a more thick and protective material to protect against it being cut through. Overall decent for the price.
