I got these for myself, an adult woman, but because I have very small feet. I wear a size 6 in adult or big kids. I found these a bit longer than necessary, but close enough that I wouldn’t want a size smaller. I did find them quite wide. I have normal width feet, so if you have wide feet, these should work fine as well. The Velcro is really nice for customizing the fit. They’re nice and lightweight, and stay that way when wet too. Nice water shoes.

These things are super light weight, and while they look flimsy, they have AWESOME grip!! Great for wading in the creek, at the beach, at the pool, and even for not slipping on the kitchen floor while mopping. I don't think I'd use them on super sharp rocks, but for the smooth ones by the creek, they're super awesome. Easy to rinse and clean, hold up well, good fit, true to size. Highly recommend these!

I ordered these for my 13 year old, but suspect he'll outgrow them by summer- but they fit me right now! These are comfortable and lightweight. Easy to wear without the added bulk. And I like the adjustable velcro closure much better than the elastic on similar shoes. I look forward to using these on beach days and easily tossing them into my bag for weekend trips!

In general, they are well made and sturdy enough to walk on some gravels before/after water sports like kayaking or creek hiking. If not for stylish reason, I would also suggest not to have the hollow out parts where the strap is because pebbles could get in the shoes easier and that won't be comfortable. 1 star was deducted because sizing is small.
