I bought these to stretch large pieces of watercolor paper, and they work well. I like to give my grandchildren art experiences, and these will come in handy for outdoor sketching. I checked the price difference between buying one or four, and the pack of four is the best bargain.

The locking mechanism leaves deep indentations on the paper. If your going to exhibit your work do not by these. I ruined some expensive paper with these and can't show the work. If you didn't care about that, they are are cheaply made and won't last long, but get the job done of holding paper to the board.

We use this out on the job site for making maps in the engineering job of work and they are a live saver
