Gets the job done without shedding wire. The width expands when rotating. It does fit my Dayton bench grinder. I have 1 3/4 inches in width total. This brush fills it and is 1 inch wide.

Well worth an extra buck or two.It doesn't shed crimped wires under pressure like some lesser expensive ones.

If you do a lot of wire wheel stuff on your bench grinder, I highly recommend this wheel. I had the standard type of wire wheel on before. Believe it was maybe 1/2" thick. This wheel is an inch. It works so much better. Some have had issue with how thick it was regarding fitment on their bench grinder. I already removed the protective covers so, fitment wasn't an issue. Also had to use some large flat washers instead of the cupped ones that are typically used with the thinner wheels. The cupped washers didn't allow enough space on the shaft for the nut to go on. After replacing them with some washers, there was enough room for the nut.As I mentioned, this wheel is a ton better than the standard wire wheels that typically come with a bench grinder. I highly recommend it.

She is a wide-one boys. Depending on what bench grinder you are placing this on it may or may-not fit within the 'safety housing' of the grinder. Other than that, this wheel is of industrial quality and will outlast many cheap wheels.

It looks good. Only time will tell if it is? It a little more expensive than the wan chung brands, so hopefully I am not just paying for the lincon name and get some quality

I always dread buying a new bench grinder wire wheel because most are garbage. I have used this for a month and don't think I've lost one wire strand. Had to remove the side shield because it's wide, real wide....! But very happy with the performance
