These 16 mm rods work great for making harbor freight welding table hold down clamps from harbor freight clamps. The 16 mm rods fit perfectly in the table…great fit! They were easy to cut with grinder cut off and easy to weld to the clamps.

Good quality shafting. They are simply cut to length & the ends ground, rather than having turned ends. Also the lengths vary slightly (+/-2mm I'd guess). These minor points make them lose one star.Overall, though, they are fine, and will work perfectly for the vast majority of applications.

All I wanted were two 45cms of straight and solid rods for a filament drybox and that is exactly what I got. The packaging was great enough to protect them in transport.
