I installed this in my 2018 Volvo V60 with the Harman kardon Platinum sound system. I have a Rockford fosgate P300-12 wired into the stock sound system/amp. While this added more bass It was still severely missing anything below 60 hz or so. And the bass that was coming out just seemed to lack any kind of depth and just added noise.Doing some research I found this product and had been waiting to do the install and purchase. The install was a bit more of a pain than I was expecting. It wasn't difficult to add power and ground, but for some reason the speaker wire terminals being so small was a giant pain. I have 18 gauge wire running from the stock amp and this was unfortunately a little too thick for the tiny terminals on here. This resulted in me having to repeatedly recut and thin the wire as either the wire kept pulling out of the tiny terminals or a random strand of copper would touch the other terminal and then cause my stock amp to short and power off. While this really just applied in my case it is something to be aware of. Also the tiny tiny tiny screw heads required me to dig through all of the various screwdriver I've acquired over the years. Screwdriver sets for laptops that I work on were too big to fit in these tiny flathead terminals. I eventually found one that came with something that was small enough to be able to turn these. So be aware that a screwdriver does not come with this and you need to have the smallest possible screwdriver you own in order to be able to use these terminal heads.After getting the install stuff figured out the tuning was done really easily. For my setup I was able to set it at about 45 hz on wide and not have any bass boost and a tiny bit of gain. This was enough to add massive amounts of clean, tight bass again. It's pretty astounding how great the bass sounds again and I'm very happy with it. Very very tight clean bass that was missing from the system. Well worth the price and relatively easy to set up and install.

just runs a little hot, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. However it far exceeds my AudioControl LCi2 in performance in a compact package, and cheaper to boot. Bass is amazing using the boost function to amplify the lower sub notes.

This simple to add inexpensive piece of equipment made a drastic improvement in the punch and clarity of the bass in my car. There really isn't much more to say, it simply works! Installation was not complicated at all. Wavtech's customer service is also excellent. I called them a few times with questions and every time I got Nick in tech support. No, I did not get an answering machine, I got a real person...every time!

I've used several LOC with my OEM sound system and until I came across this little piece of equipment I had no idea what I was really missing.The ability to know exactly how far I can turn the volume before distortion is a tremendous boost for me and for only $99 ...I'd recommend anyone who's looking for a LOC to purchase one.Installation was easy beyond belief with no issues.It gets warm but I wouldn't call that a deal breaker. My light bulbs also gets warm when they're turned on.
