I picked this up to provide a voltage readout for a vintage Austin Healey. I like the small size and the bright display is a plus, because this car is for top-down driving on sunny days. The included bezel, while decent, didn’t suit my desired mounting location so I fabricated one up. That said, the included hardware is surprisingly good. The positive and negative lead connections are pre-wired and, if appropriate to your mounting location, are simply plug and play. I pictured the positive lead with its included inline glass type fuse holder, although I changed mine out for a blade type fuse.As mentioned, the display is bright and sharp. The individual red, yellow and green lights on the perimeter of the display light up sequentially as voltage increases, which adds to the at-a-glance legibility. A nice touch.In summary, this is a nice, unobtrusive voltage indicator that is easy to install and lends itself to a variety of applications.

Hard to see in bright light, easy to install, us for boat batteries and they don't seem to drain any power.

I purchased a pair of these meters for boat use. One was dead-on within its 0.1V resolution (reference Keysight 34461A bench multimeter), the other was slightly off by about 0.05V. Uses 20mA in operation. Minimum voltage where the display turns on is 5.1V. Maximum voltage before display shows 888 error was 36V (no damage occurred). The entire range between minimum and maximum voltages is just as accurate as the intended mid range. Curved bar graph is mainly for entertainment, though the red zone makes sense for lead-acid (see picture for reality). Red warning LED illuminates at 14.7V. Not going to be easy to read in direct sunlight, but very nice otherwise.

Just received these and tried out one of them to see what they look like lit up. First off, they are smaller than I expected, but no complaints because I did have a concern about battery drain. Dreary afternoon but it lights up brightly and looks good. On a sunny day, with the distance to my seat, we'll see, but I'm not concerned. The numbers might be a bit small, but the dial should show brightly. They look to be well made. The packaging is minimal, but no signs of damage, and given the price, and less waste, well done! I'll definitely update after use if I see any problems. I'm happy!

I ordered a two pack. One read exactly the same as my Klein voltmeter. The other read 1/10th lower. Overall, very happy with them. I’m using for car audio. They react slightly slower than ones that cost 5 times more, but a very good value.

Works, slim-body came with a pigtail and inline use. The slim design, if you read the details shows, yellow until 13 volts. (Yellow in the nominal 12.0-12.9v range) And then above 13 volts it shows green. That's exactly what I wanted, because I wanted to use it as an overvoltage charging indicator as well as voltage monitors when battery is under extended draw, so it worked perfectly. Normal battery voltage shows yellow in the 12v ramge. When the charger relay kicks in it turns green >13v which is exactly what I wanted!!! . The long body however shows a green led in the nominal 12.0-12.9 volt range, So that was less useful with a new good battery for me because it always shows green at a nominal 12.7v battery voltage and wasn't acting as a color changing charging indicator for overvoltage. Also, the screen on the slim line has a darker cover that makes it easier to read in the daylight. The long body had a less obscured LED and even the number values that were not turned on reflecting ambient light. Overall I give the slim line an A+ and the long body a B.

My only complaint is that it does not read up to 15 volts so when you start your vehicle up it maxes out.
