I use these for liquid culture jars on culinary mushrooms. They have survived one autoclave run so far, and appear to be holding up well. No contamination has gotten through, and its providing enough gas exchange.

I've tried every brand and type of micron filter. This brand has the ability to hold snug to the syringe without stripping and losing its seal. It's hydrophilic and almost every bit passes through less what you want to filter out! Two thumbs up!

These fit on the end of a syringe. Very hard to push the plunger. I suggest a vet steel syringe. These filter out everything.Bacteria are .04 microns. These filter to half that size. Warming your sample may help the flow.

Filters “cracked†at a rate I’ve never encountered before when operated within specification. Went through a complete package to perform a job that usually requires 5 at most.
