The clip is weird. But once you figure it out it works fine. My daughter loves walking and dancing around the house in them. She is two. I ordered a size up because they definitely run small. First pair her size were too small.

I purchased this tap shoes for my daughter because she absolutely loves tapping those little feet. These tap shoes reminded me of elegance and grace because of their bright shiny black tone. The shoes look high class, with durable seams around the edges. My daughter loves the softness of the shoe because she has had some issues with tap soes in the past being super hard and chaffing her heel. These shoes make a wonderful sound and the part that she and I love the best are the buckler. With growing feet not necessarily in length size the buckle has been a god send and allowed these shoes to last a bit longer than other ones we have purchased. These are a great pair of tap shoes. They are definitely not unisex and have more of a Mary Jane look, but they are a great look for any young lady.

These tap shoes are great! They fit perfectly and are comfortable right out of the box. The slide buckle strap makes them easy to adjust and secure. My child loves wearing them to class, to practice and all around the house! They are stylish and functional. Overall, highly recommended for their comfort, fit, and quality.

The shoe itself is really good quality. My issue is with the weird buckle function. We got the beige ones and they look like they have a traditional buckle, but it's not functionable. I don't understand why they didn't use a traditional buckle instead of the weird loop thing. I feel like my daughter is going to kick them off when she gets going really well. It doesn't seem like a very sturdy clasp.

They stay put on my child's foot, are as comfortable as dance shoes go, and have a great shine! If you've never used this "easy" buckle style before, it can take a couple times to get used to, but works very well.

These are really nice tap shoes, well designed and comfortable. The metal plate is attached securely to the shoe and is in the correct position and shape. My daughter is a solid size 12 Big Kid and these really are too small. I definitely should have gotten her a 13 Big Kid. The buckle is awesome! Our dance classes are 3 styles immediately after each other and shoe styles have to be quickly changed. The ones that are lace and tie, those kids are not getting on themselves; the ones with Velcro don’t stay on as well as is needed. This little “S†hook like buckle is brilliant. You put the buckle part into the hole that fits best and then all she has to do is put the strap into that S piece and bam, back on the dance floor!
