These adorable tap shoes appear to be well made. They fit true to size. They've got a nice retro style. These tap shoes are perfect for learning a new skill, or refreshing an old one. They're comfortable and functional. (Should my review change, I'll update it.)(My star rating system: 4 stars met my expectations, 5 stars exceeded my expectations, 3 stars fell short of my expectations, 2 stars significantly fell short of my expectations, 1 star highly suggest not ordering)

Long time dancer, but I just started tap dancing again a few months ago so my knowledge and skill level are minimal, but these look and feel GREAT! I can't say enough great things about these and I can't wait to wear them to my next class. Some things to know:-I'm normally prefer an 8.5 so I was anxious about the size 8 (couldn't get 8.5) but they fit great. I don't wear socks with any of my dance shoes (judge me if you want) but I think I could still manage a thin sock for a recital if I wanted to.-I think 3 pairs of shoes off Amazon have ever fit me (over the course of like 15 years!) so the fact that these fit true to size is a HUGE point of celebration. I felt like Cindarella.-The arrive laced just like the picture right out of the box which, again, I LOVE because I was able to throw them on and try them out right away. It's a small thing, but it matters a lot for me.-The method of lacing is also VERY stylish and functional.-The faux leather looks nice, a little cheap looking up close, but from far away they look VERY pretty! The brown is a perfect tobacco-brown color.-The lining is a synthetic fabric we're all very familiar with. It's cheap, it will probably pill up (easy fix), but it's durable and easily cleaned.-The current price point of $35 down from $52 is great. I don't think I would pay more than $45 for these when Capizio's are only a few bucks more for real leather. And you can't try these on obviously, which is a HUGE draw back for any shoes, but especially dance shoes. So in my opinion, the seller needs to come down on the price in order to move this product.-Quick shipping, great packaging, overall a great experience with this seller. The tap shoes came as described. The sound board taps are screw in. They are on very securely and sound great. The shoes have a 1" heel and non skid rubber. These shoes produce a great tap sound. They are very comfortable and fit true to size. I would say the price is fair but could be a bit less considering the materials. Overall, the shoes are nice and they produce great sound when tapping. I'm satisfied with the product and the results I get from them.

These are decent budget tap shoes. They are lightweight, which some people might not like but I do. They feel like I'm wearing nothing after a while. Even though they aren't specifically labeled wide, they fit my wide feet. The outer shell is soft, and they tie up well. The slight heel is just high enough. I appreciate that they came in larger sizes, and fit your street size so I didn't have to do any weird math to determine my size. Has a reasonably resonate tapping sound. My only issue is how the taps are screwed to the shoes. They don't sit flush. There is a sizable gap between the tap and the sole. And I can't figure out why. They should fit flush, they just don't. I want to find a way to fix that so they don't loosen or catch on anything while I am dancing. Otherwise these are decent shoes.

I'm impressed by how well made these shoes seem to be! The fit was perfect and the shoes themselves are very comfortable to wear. Highly recommend.
