Some of these brass fittings don't actually measure the proper size when you get them. Based on pictures and reviews I decided to give this fitting a try. Luckily for me the 3/8 to 5/16 fitting is properly sized. I did not use the worm clamps, so can't speak on those. But the barb is properly sized on both ends. I would recommend.

Had to splice in a temp 3/8†fuel line into a 5/16†fuel line. No leaks and fit perfectly. Will replace the 5/16†line when I can, but for now this is working in the mean time.
