This extends and retracts faster than our original Lippert. Design has obviously been improved.

Installation was easy, product working beautifully so far. I like how the legs are relatively independent - the older set would only go down as far as the highest point - leaving the other side in the air forcing me to level by wooden inserts. And while these are not intended to lift the trailer, its nice that there is a small margin that one leg can down further than the other.

I wanted to replace my crank down generic stabilizers due to damage they took when I camped on a slight grade and didn’t quite chock the tires correctly. I am a retired maintenance guy and so I had the tools and physical ability to craw around under the RV to wire and position the new power stabilizer jacks. My frame was slightly narrower than the mounting holes provided by the manufacturer. I used heavy 90 degree elbows to extend the width to accommodate the mounting holes on the frame of the power stabilizer. You need to be able to figure out how to wire this without instructions and its not hard. Use common maintenance practices and you’ll be OK. If you don’t have the skills, let a handyman do the job. I do love the way it makes it easy to setup the camp and no need to crank and bend down to to it. I just installed on the rear and may do the front also in time. Seem heavy duty and well made.

We ordered two of these stabilizers. One arrived fine the second on arrived without the hardware. Amazon was great and picked up the one without the parts and sent a new one. Word of caution if you receive the stabilizer without the hardware it's most likely because the box received a hole in the box and it was lost in transport. I wish Lippert would package it better with better protection and maybe a bigger box.

I made a rookie mistake first time using our new trailer and forgot to retract my stabilizer legs before hooking back up to the truck. As I hooked up I realized my trailer tires were off the ground and all weight was on the back stabilizer legs, and as I tried to hurry and lower it back down, the legs gave under the weight, and bent. I saved a ton of money buying this replacement off of Amazon and replacing the bent one myself, instead of taking it to the shop. I'd say I'm a novice in these types of things, but the install was an absolute piece of cake. Only took me about 30 minutes to swap it out (including the electrical wiring), and the new one has worked perfectly ever since. It came with the switch to extend/retract, but I did not need to swap that out. The existing switch still worked.

This replacement was exactly what I needed. Only complaint is that the old one was installed with a total of 8 bolts and nuts. This one came with only 4 of each.

I purchased and installed the PSx1 on front and rear of my 2021 Grand Design. I was trying to make setting up the trailer easier as I approach retirement. The installation was straight forward. Yes I had to drill a few new holes but I wouldn't expect things to line up perfectly with every trailer on the market. The operation is smooth and the extension is relatively fast compared to previous electric jacks. The problem is that they do not hold the trailer steady.I made sure that I was level at the campground and then lowered the jacks. I was so happy. Then I put the driver side slide out and the trailer tilted towards the driver side approximately 1" off level. I suppose these jacks would be fine if I had a passenger side slide out to counterbalance the trailer, or if I did not have any slides. Now I am faced with having to set up my trailer leaning 1" towards the passenger side, drop the jacks, and then put out the slide in order to have a level trailer. This was never an issue with the scissor jacks that came with the trailer.I called Lippert which only added insult to injury. The representative told me two things that indicated she had been poorly trained in customer service. The first was that the PSx1 was not a JACK, it was a stabilizer. I'm pretty sure she meant it was not a leveling jack, but as I talked to her further she insisted they were stabilizers, not jacks. I was told that it was necessary for me to level my trailer with the slide out and then drop the jacks. Again, poorly trained. I was so frustrated after being told to put the slide out and then back onto blocks.... anyway, you get the idea.My second issue with the PSx1 is during our camping trip the wind was blowing and the trailer not only rocked in the wind but with each rocking motion, the jacks creaked and "popped". It was so loud that the first night I went outside to see if had left a compartment door unlatched or if the water hose was beating against the side of the trailer.Fast forward. This weekend I removed both PSx1's and replaced them with four BAL scissor jacks. All my problems pertaining to stabilization are gone. I wish I had known better before I wasted well over $1,000 on the Lippert PSx1's, but live and learn.

My original on the camper landed incorrectly and when i lifted the pin at the front to block it up bent the leg. So i bought a powerfist one from p.a., it was noisy and nreliable. Returned it and got this one.Would definitely recommend this for replacing another over any offahore branded ones.

Product arrived on time. Perfect match to the old stabilizer system that needed replacing. Just make sure you save the hardware from the old one. Seller states that the installation hardware is provide but I did not receive with my order.
