I recently had misfiring code displaced on my 2001 Honda Accord. I changed the spark plus and coiled, but this did not solve the issue. So I decided that I needed to check the compression on my cylinders to find out if I had a more serious engine problem.I bought this compression tester because it was American made and had a reasonable price.I tested all 4 cylinder compressions with this tool. All cylinders averaged 175 PSI or better. I tested each cylinder twice to ensure that the results were repeatable. So I now know that that compression is great on my car's engine and it is not the problem for the misfire.Though this hasn't solved my misfire problem it has eliminated a potential major problem. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to do this test.This is a great product and a welcome addition to my tool library.

I needed to check the compression on my 2003 BMW 325i. Tester fit well, didn't leaks and provided accurate readings. Very satisfied with this tool.

Works pretty good. The gauges feel a little cheap but they work. When they go bad I'll replace with good fluid filled gauges. I lay them out straight because if the hoses have a bend in them, they are harder to get started in 3400's because of the long spark plug tube. Will probably end up putting quick disconnects and have longer hoses made for our bigger engins

This is a quality tool and is a good value for the money. Well constructed and sturdy, it worked fine for me. With headers and all getting the threads started was a bit difficult on some of the cylinders but that is no reflection on the tool. The only thing that would be nice is if it came in a case to protect the tool. Other than that I am very happy with the tester!Thank Yiou!

Used for an outboard racing engine which has 18mm spark plugs. Works for both 14mm & 18mm plug holes.

I used this on a chainsaw after the chainsaw repair man tested it with a rubber orfic at 80 lbs. I was skeptical and used the purchase to test it and it was 137 lbs. I think the product was very accurate. I reccomend this pressure tester. Well after several uses I have found it doesn't work too good. I just bought a saw that showed 158 Pressure from the seller and this guage shows 130 also my neighbor has a 372 Husky that shows low pressure and it is only 2 yrs. old. I will have to retract my judgement on this to not so good.

Good to have a compression gauge that reads accurate i had another brand from Autobahn that read 40 psi low so i am happy to have a Lisle Gauge which reads correct and would recommend Lisle to anyone
