Finally!!! This was exactly what I needed to adjust the 4 barrel quadrajet on my 84 Chevy 305 v-8 engine. It was the double d socket. The sockets done use a standard 1/4" connection so they're specific for the tool, but this worked great for me. No auto parts store sold a carb adjusting screwdriver and the flexible shaft made this super easy to use. Lisle tools are always high quality.

Purchased to use on a Mercruiser 2BL 5.0 Carb - didn't fit the trim screw, ohwell.Likes: oil resistant, easy to handle, flexibleDislikes: the tips are a bit flimsy, and the press-fit junctions are not very good at holding the individual adapters onto the tool. A bit of tinkering with a dental tool to adjust the clamping pins, and it worked as expected.

Works great for adjusting double-D Quadrajet mixture screws for ‘79-up carbs with capped mixture screws. The caps can be removed with a dremel tool, small chisel, small punch, and some patience. Trying to drill or grind away the caps is nearly impossible as they are made from hardened steel.

Wish it had a carrying case. The bits fit. I had the oval-ish shaped ones.

It did the job of adjusting my Chevy C20 truck carburator idle screw. Came with the double-D adapter. Wished this was magnetic tip instead of friction-lock.
