Removes all oil filters from 2 1/2" to 3 1/8" in diameter. This extra large range enables the 63600 wrench to fit most all import car filters plus the common 3" domestic car filters. Steel jaws grip filter without slipping. Works in tight spots from the front of the filter using 3/8" drive. This is to be used for removing the filter, not installing.

I bought a used Toyota Tacoma pickup with the V6 and whoever did the last oil change installed it so tight my oil filter "socket" rounded off the flutes, and the "pliers" would not budge the filter. With the ratchet, this tool would not turn the oil filter eitherI I broke out the 18" breaker bar and with about 30lbs of force (1.5' x 30lbs = 45ft/lbs) I finally got it to turn! I feared the threads of the oil filter housing on my pickup would strip since it took so much force! This tool worked even on that filter after being somewhat damaged by the oil filter socket and pliers. THIS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST OPTION FOR SMALL OIL FILTERS, ESPECIALLY IN DIFFICULT TO REACH LOCATIONS!

I've used a few oil filter removers now and this is by far the most useful for my car. I have a dodge dart 2015 and the oil filter is hard to get to with most other removal tools. After using this one, I don't think I'll ever need another. It's very well built, slim for small spaces and easy to use. It's Definitely worth the price and latches on to the filter easily. It also can only turn in the direction to loosen the filter, but not tighten it.

I tried 3 other wrenches to get a motorcycle filter off. I was up to piercing it with a screwdriver (hint that would never have worked) ... i got this thing overnight - still it wouldnt budge the filter but it didn't slip. Finally a breaker bar on top of a wrench and it moved.. This filter wrench did dig into the filter deeply but it held the weight of a 2 foot wrench. VERY handy tool...

this works great it has never slipped off the only problems i had with it is the spring fell out of place once and on overtightened oil filters it will get stuck on the oil filter

As long as is not a cartridge filter. This wrench is all you’ll ever need. It won’t slip and is as strong as you would wanted it to be

I do all the oil changes on our family cars and I just don't find this easy to use. So it sits in the drawer, and I use my one that fits on the end or i use a filter wrench.

Unit worked on the tiny filters on my Toyota, even with the cramped space.I like the way it can vary the sizes of filters it will work on.Well worth the puchase price.

Triumph filter levered on by dealers made an oil change an absolute hassle with oem cap slipping off filter. This sorted it no problem.

Un producto magnÃfico, te salva de apreturas en las que otras llaves no pueden entrar debido a su perfil lateral fino, y su acople de 3/8 permite hacer la suficiente fuerza al mismo tiempo que dar accesibilidad, me ha quitado dolores de cabeza de otras llaves con las que perdÃa mucho tiempo para quitar ciertos filtros. Sin duda lo recomiendo.
