Always looking out for new running gear, especially cold-weather running gear, I came across this jacket. As a budget-conscious runner, I'll try to be as thorough as I can so you can make an informed decision. I hate spending money on something I truly don't like. The weather for my test runs was 26°F/-3°C with a 13 mph/21 km/h wind. I ran a 10k both days—at easy and moderate/threshold paces.Construction:This thing is super lightweight. I seriously didn't realize I was wearing it during half the run. It feels almost like a padded windbreaker. It's constructed with two materials: a super-thin outer fabric with polyester padding inside, and a soft fabric mesh at sweat points (under the arms, middle of the back, and lower arms - see photo). I feel it may be too thin, especially with multiple washes. However, I understand the reasoning for this construction—to keep it lightweight.Keeping Warm:This is where it shines. I run in a lot of wind. My stomach and chest always get red and irritated while running because of it. I usually have to wear layers, and most of the time that doesn't work. This jacket held back all of it. I was unaffected by the wind, and it kept me warm in the trouble spots.Moisture Wicking:It's waterproof inside and out, which I didn't realize until I took it off. I had sweated a lot, and it was all over the inside. Not a big deal, but if you're looking for something to soak up sweat and wick it away, the padded portions don't absorb anything.Size:I routinely wear medium jackets. Sometimes mediums are borderline small on me. This jacket was a medium, and I feel I could have gone down a size. It's a rather large medium. Take this with a grain of salt, though; I'm not sure if a small would fit better or not.Features:Watch hole (photo):There's a spot on both arms where you can slide your watch face through the sleeve. I liked this a lot. On both runs, it held up, and I could see my watch without problems.Zippered pockets:I usually shed gear when I get hot—hats and gloves. Having zippered pockets helped so I wasn't constantly checking if I'd dropped something.Thumb hole sleeves (photo):It comes with thumb holes to keep your sleeves down. Another nice feature here is that it covers the back of your hand when you slide your thumb in. The backs of my hands constantly get cold; this kept the wind away.Neck guard:The neck guard is very loose (maybe a little too loose). I'm not a fan of being strangled during a run. It kept the cold out and let me breathe.Cons:It makes a slight swooshing sound when running. Not like a windbreaker with your arms moving, but when striding, I noticed the movement up and down my shoulder areas made a faint swooshing sound from the fabric. Hardly noticeable, but I wanted to note it.Overall, I'm happy with this jacket. It's going into my rotation as my go-to for "why the heck am I running in this weather" runs.

The best thing about this jacket is how lightweight yet warm it is. We live in a cold place, but like to be able to bend our arms and not feel we're either freezing or wearing a strait jacket! This jacket is plain in appearance, which we appreciate, generous in size, and comfortable to wear at near zero temperatures. Also good as part of a layered assemblage, as it's not in the least bulky. A really great jacket for that early morning run or bringing in wood from the barn.

I only put this on a couple of times, I really disliked. It was mostly the fit. It was way too big for me...and I hate feeling like I'm swimming in my clothes. I didn't really like the fabric either...it felt like it was extra puffy/poofy/fluffy, and it made me feel like I was an elephant. I'm not small...dad bod weight lifter, but I don't want any clothing that makes me look bigger/fatter. I've got enough of my own size to worry about, I don't want my clothes "adding 10 pounds". Anyway, maybe it's a fine product, I just feel like I never really got the chance to find out.

This is a well-made jacket that has kept the wind away on at least six runs. The fabric is breathable and doesn't feel tight or constricting. I recommend buying a size smaller than you usually would. I ordered a large which is generally the best size for me. This jacket fits more like an extra large with longer sleeves than usual. I would order the jacket again. However, the next time I would choose a medium.

This Little Donkey Andy jacket looks stylish and is extremely comfortable to wear. This keeps my warm in windy weather and has the added benefit of the waterproof outer layer so I can be active outdoors whenever it is raining. The quality of the jacket is well constructed with zip up pockets so I can easily secure my valuable items such as my wallet or phone without having to worry about them falling out. I like the thumb hole to keep my hands warm and the watch cut out so I can check my workout stats on my watch without rolling up my sleeves. This fits me very well and is true to size. With a nicely constructed design and such useful features, this hybrid jacket is a great value.

Although I have never heard of this brand before I am a fan of it now. This jacket is very comfortable and on the lighter side but it's lined with thermal insulation material and it does keep you nice and warm. I like to go on a jog 4-5X a week and this jacket is PERFECT for that purpose. I like the zip-up pockets in the front, they are basically hidden. I also really like the thumb-holes in this jacket, The watch holes I could go without but that's because I do not wear a watch. Overall this jacket is high quality and very comfy, I recommend! Worth the money!
