Really convenient and practical. With the automatic atee floater. It’s orderly easy to install.Downside. My horse bit plastic off and broke off.

My priorities for an automatic waterer were 1) needed to be reliable so I could leave it unattended as my horses' only water supply, and 2) my nosey and curious horses wouldn't mess with it and/or break it. This waterer has met both of my goals perfectly. The horses began using it immediately - no reluctance at all. And they haven't yet figured out how to break it, although they have nothing but time on their hands. Also, the optional rubber drain plug makes it really easy to drain and clean - something I didn't really think about until after I installed it, and I'm glad to have that feature.

After following the directions I hooked the WATERER to water supply and the valve didn't shut off when the bucket was full, not even close. I was fixing to pack it up for return when upon inspection noticed the valve assembly (installed at factory) was installed upside down as there was no way the float would shut off the flow of water in the current position. After removing the entire assembly and flipping the valve assembly 180 degrees and re-installing everything it now seems to be working fine, time will tell.HOWEVER, it is supposed to come with an extra VALVE SEAL WHICH IT DID NOT.I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE AMAZON TO SEND THE EXTRA VALVE SEAL TO ME.Update: I have communicated with the supplier of this product and gave them the specific part number that wasn't included with the original order and Have Not Heard Anything From Them Since.

Does it’s job. Like other have said, some parts may leak but are easily fixed. It’s been working fine and gives the horses plenty of water. Id buy another one if I needed to.

I loved this product when it worked then it began to have issues. The float for some reason began to hit the cover and filled constantly. I adjusted the float using the little screw that allowed it. Then it began to leak at the plastic connection on the side. This is the connection where the water hose connects. Now the situation is hopeless and I have had to disconnect the waterer. Drag in a tank and begin using that.My horses are taken care of but at what cost to my bad back. I am 80 years old and such work is very difficult for me.
