This pump fits inside most dehumidifiers, portable air conditioners and ceiling-mounted air conditioners. The 1-ABS automatically starts when water reaches 1-3/4-inches and shut offs when water drops to 1-1/4-inches. The 1-ABS comes equipped with a 9-ft. 115-Volt power cord and plug. A built-in, unique float switch design assures reliability while providing easy access to the float switch for maintenance. This unit does not come with a condensate collection tank.

I have a house dehumidifier that I bought a year ago. It has a built in pump, but it was never strong enough to consistently work. I was tired of emptying the bucket so I looked up submersible pumps with floats and found this one. I had prior experience with the manufacturing and new it is made very well. With a little modification, I install the pump and it works fantastically. The basement humidity is now controlled and I don't have to empty a heavy bucket!

Great pump. Surprisingly small and very powerful. Please note that this pump sits in your pan and will drain/pump when water reaches a certain level and only pumps about 50% of the water. This is not a defect but is how it is designed

The first pump did not work due to a faulty magnetic switch. It was quickly replace by the seller. Second unit worked very good.

I love the Little Giant submersible pump I purchased. It works perfectly reliable and I don't have to worry about any water overflow. The only negative about the purchase was the very poor directions that came with the pump. If I had not been just replacing my old Little Giant pump that was over 20 years old, I would never have been able to install this new pump with the vague directions that came with it. Luckily I just installed it the same as my old pump and didn't have any trouble.

Got this new pump due to all the great reviews. Set it up per instructions to replace an old timer ran sump style pump in my barn for the cooling condenser. Tested it out, and man this thing moved some water. Best part, the float makes everything automatic, and it keeps the sump well pretty much empty with very little water left due to the float mechanism.Well, I did all of this right before leaving for an extended camping trip for the 4th of July. When I got home, I found my barn flooded, which stopped the condenser from running. Worst yet, mold everywhere due to all the moisture and heat! Been so busy cleaning up that I haven't had time to leave this review! The automatic float mechanism seems to have stuck "on" and the thing ran itself to death. Back to the old timer pump. Which is a shame, since this thing seemed to be exactly what I needed.

This is the third Little Giant pump I have purchased in the last 20 years to pull water out of my dehumidifier, out of the house and into my garden. My basement appreciates it!

The float switch is magnetic. This means that if your inflow of water is a trickle (like condensation from a furnace) then there will be a moment when the switch doesn't fully turn on the pump because the magnetic field on the float is sloooowly activating the float switch. In this moment the pump is turning on/off but not moving much water. In my case, the pump was on and heating the water around it. The amount of water coming in was equal to the water going out so the pump never shuts off. There is no doubt in my mind that this is why people are burning their pumps out. If your inflow is relatively fast you should have no perceived issue.

This pump is a power house. It will pump 10' vertical, and can pump a few hundred gallons of water an hour if needed. If you're using it in a condensate pan, there is NO installation. Set it in the pan, hook up your drain line to the outlet on the pump and plug it in. No adjustments to make, no brackets, no loose wires, and virtually no noise make this the perfect little pump.

Was nervous about spending so much on a pump for my auto draining setup in my 5x5 tent, however I am very happy I splurged and bought this rather than something cheap to do the trick. Hoping this last for a couple years.

I have it set up in a grow tent to pump out the runoff from watering plants there. Does the job, no complaints at all.
