I use these pads in my kitchen trashcan. I pop one in the bottom under the bags about once a month. The can is now free of smells and need wiping down only on the outside or if there is a spill.

Nothing really stops the smell once you open a diaper genie but it does help a bit. May e a deodorizer one would help more.

You get a lotFor a good price compared to the nameBrand and it works really well to keep smell at bay, they were easy to use you just pop out the old one and slide this one in and the same one lasts a couple months so you have a long term supply of them

These fit the diaper genie system just fine, but I was not impressed. They don’t come individually sealed. They’re all loose in one zip bag. I don’t think they helped the smell much, either. Maybe I didn’t get a good batch.
