I travel to Vietnam often and fell in love with these plants that are very popular there. Very old specimens there in large bonsai pots. This one is small and hopefully it last a very long time. Being kept inside under led grow lights.

I had a companion whom had passed and a desert rose was sent to me from a family member, in remembrance of him. (It was not purchased on Amazon). The plant was beautiful but very weak upon arrival and although I followed directions I realized afterwards the caudex (base) was rotted and could not be saved. I ordered this one and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Thick caudex, strong roots and healthy leaves. I love this desert rose and definitely recommend the seller and will buy from again. Thank you

my plant arrived and upon opening it looked yellow and spotty. i unwrapped and planted - the leaves began to dry out and fall off... it came it, it dried, it died....i cried : (

This plant lost all its leaves within a week after I received it. Since it still looked like the football was okay, I kept it in water. After a few weeks, it grew leaves at the end of the stems. Now I have 3 or 4 rows of leaves in each stem, but close to a foot of bare stem. I tried pinching off the new growth to encourage new growth in the area where it lost all the leaves, but no luck so far. Maybe I will have better luck next spring or the next growing season.Still no blossom in November.I'm not sure if it was worth the money yet, will have to wait until next growing season to see how full, healthy & colorful it is.

My desert rose is growing beautifully. I am using a bonsai bowl and it looks amazing in it. It is by my west window and the plant gets the 5 to 6 hours of sunlight needed. Some of the leaves burnt this summer, but it was because of the Los Angeles direct sun. For the care, it is very easy. When I see the bulb shrinking, I water the plant. Usually once a week. Very easy to maintain. I highly recommend to buy from this seller.

The plant arrived alive, with no issues. It will take months of growing to see the blooms, so I don't have info about the colors, etc.
