This could be attached to just about anything, even a flat surface, the body of the brush is strong enough to do that. You will just need some long screws. If you want it to wrap around the post it has to be small, like 2.5-3".Other than that, very strong and rigid body, good bristles, the animals use it every day.

I could get these up fast enough to make my goats happy! They seem very sturdy and have put up with 7 nigerian goats rubbing on them for at least a month now. Highly recommend!

The cows like it so it’s a 5 from them LOL. It was easy to instal once we find the right size pole. Sturdy bristles too.

I ordered this for my itchy horses. I haven’t mounted it yet as I can’t find a suitable place for it. It’s much smaller than it looks in the photos. 17†long, 7†wide, bristles are about 4†long mounted on curved plastic base. It’s very stout with very firm bristles. I can see it being a nice alternative to rubbing on the pine trees but I wonder how it will affect their long, flowing manes and tails. Tangles???

Easy to install and the horses love them. Installed mine on a tree and they use them almost every other day.
