The Lix&Rix retractable safety coiled lanyards are exactly what I was looking for, and great quality for the price. The carabiners seem to be well made, the locking clips close securely and over all-this was a great sub $10.00 purchase. Used to attach pliers, flashlights and other gear to a 5-gallon bucket set up for ice fishing-losing gear "should" be a thing of the past. The high-visibility green color works great in snow conditions making tools and gear easy to find. The length is more than adequate when stretched-about 24" and even after a few uses-seems to return near to the original length.

These holders are fantastic for keeping my box cutter secure while working at Kroger. They’re lightweight, durable, and quite sturdy. I highly recommend purchasing them; they’re definitely worth the money. Whatever you need to have on you constantly will stay put with these!

I bought this coiled lanyard to secure my fishing tools and accessories. I was looking for a sturdy and flexible lanyard that would prevent me from losing or dropping my items. This lanyard met my needs and more. It is made of stainless steel wire that is coated with PVC. It has a carabiner clip on one end and a ring on the other end. It can stretch up to 59 inches and retract back to its original shape.The lanyard is great for attaching your fishing pliers, scissors, net, knife, or any other tool that you need. It is easy to clip and unclip, and it does not get tangled or twisted. It also does not interfere with your fishing movements or snag on anything. It keeps your tools handy and secure.The only downside is that the carabiner clip can be a bit small for some items. It may not fit some larger or thicker handles or loops. I recommend checking the size of your items before buying the lanyard.Overall, I’m very pleased with this coiled lanyard and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fishing.

At home I use these to attach my keys to my belt-loop when I go for a walk -- I put the keys in my pocket but this cord gives me peace of mind that the keys aren't going to fall out and get lost, and the stretchy cord allows me to leave the keys attached while raising them high enough to open the building entrance lock (when I'm entering a side- or garage level-door instead of the though the lobby).While traveling I had my wallet attached to one of these cords and clipped onto my belt-loop, so that I'd be less likely to drop my wallet or not remember to put it back in my pocket. The clip was very convenient for unhooking when emptying pockets into a bin to go through security scanners.

Well made, but not suitable for attaching a card that needs to be inserted- like at casino player club ports on slot machines. It shows this as a use but, no. I had to link two of them to reach from my waist to machine- a distance of less than 2-1/2-3ft.

I’ve used this kind of thing for years on my house and car keys, and none last forever but these seem to be the best I’ve found at least for ease of use. The clip is large enough that it’s super easy to attach and detach from belt loops yet they still stay close securely. I’m going to buy another set
