After 2 hours of careful, tedious work, we successfully had this new screen installed on my wife's iPhone (that I broke 😅). It's been holding up well for a few days and we can successfully say the parts in this kit worked like a charm. When doing the repair, I recommend:1) having a few bowls nearby to hold the teeny-tiny screws and stay organized as you work2) use the iFixit guides (and maybe a few JerryRigEverything phone durability tests to understand the caution and "measure twice cut once" approach to these sensitive screen replacements)3) Gently use a hairdryer to melt the adhesiveThe one downside was that the replacement adhesive to be applied after connecting the new screen didn't work 100% around the rim. With the new screen the IP68 water and dust resistance rating is lost anyway, but now we have to be a bit more careful.Otherwise this kit helped us avoid the $280 screen replacement from Apple (or needing to buy a new phone). Great product.

It works, brought it to a small phone repair company and they replaced it quickly, screen was fine, a little dark in comparison to the original but good quality.

First replacement screen I ordered from LL Trader (6/24), for my iPhone X, worked fine. It has some issues with the touchscreen freezing but those are usually fixed by turning the screen off and on, or at most by a reboot (volume +, - then hold power button until the apple logo lights up on the screen). So, when my daughter cracked her iPhone X screen, I just ordered another replacement from LL Trader, assuming it would be like my previous order. Unfortunately, this second screen from LL Trader made the replacement physically impossible, since the nuts welded on the replacement screen for the earpiece/face recognition sensor are literally in the way of the hardware, and will not permit successful attachment. I messaged LL Trader through their website and received no response for a week. Then I emailed them and several days later I received a generic recommendation on potential software troubleshooting. When finally someone actually read my plea for help, they asked for pictures and then disappeared. No further replies. Do not buy from LL Trader, I never again will.

Look no further. Don't hesitate. BUY THIS NOW! I wish I had known years ago how easy it was to replace a broken screen - spent way too much money buying new phones when I coulda replaced the screen myself for $25 . . . that's crazy! The tools included in this package are all you need; it literally took me less than 30 minutes (and that includes watching the video all the way through before I started so I would know what I was getting into); and the replacement screen is bright and works perfectly . . . and then kit includes a new screen protector too! I don't know when I have ever been so satisfied with a purchase that I was moved to post a review to let other people know how great my experience was.

Works 95% of the time. Once in a while, it doesn't respond to my touch. It was a green tint on it.

Pakketje leek goed. Met gereedschap kan het verbonden worden maar met geen mogelijkheid lukt het om het scherm vast te zetten vanwege metalen pinnen die nergens in kunnen. Zelfs als dit zou kunnen ontbreekt er lijm in het pakket waardoor het niet vastgehecht kan worden en dus ook niet waterdicht zal zijn. Zeer teleurstellend.
