Your cart is empty.The LM556 dual timing circuit is a highly stable controller capable of producing accurate time delays or oscillation. The 556 is a dual 555. Timing is provided by an external resistor and capacitor for each timing function. The two timers operate independently for each other sharing only vcc and ground. The circuits may be triggered and reset on falling waveforms. The output structures may sink or source 200MA.

I used one for an experiment with sound generation and it works fine. I fond no flaws in the chip.

Arrived in a plastic tube, on time, good condition. So far I've used 2, but just noticed one IC is missing a leg.I should have checked to see if they were all intact on arrival. But it's not a huge deal.I'm probably going to try and somehow add the leg back on, maybe solder it, put it in an IC socket.Anyways for the amount of chips it is a good deal.Projects: Used to build a stepped tone generator (using 1 556 instead of 2 555s)
