They shipped this in one of those thin plastic bubble wrap bags. No box. No foam. Nothing seems damaged and it works well enough for my application though.

This is an HONEST beware- I ordered *7* of these rails in the past for a major project. I initially ordered 2 for a test fit- they were fine. Fast forward to the future- after clearance for the project- I ordered 5 more to finish as a group of 7. After ordering the 5 remaining I received 1 initially by prime but the rail was 2mm longer than what is advertised.. which did not fit into the application. The other 4 were no shows, which had to be disputed with Amazon. It wasn't a big deal at first but after dealing with this delay- the debris guard on the slider is made incredibly poorly resulting in the part getting caught on itself and creating drag. I've seen multiple comments on this product about it not sliding properly and that's your issue- it's not built well, which can be remedied- but if they can't even get the product out on time- just stay away- plenty of these made elsewhere.

Overall, a good value for the price. One of the ones I purchased was not as smooth as the others but still useable with a bit of cleaning and lubrication. As long as they are attached to a straight surface, they seem to perform well. Time will tell how long they will last.

The good: zero play in the carriage on the rail.The bad: It doesn't roll smoothly. it feels catchy and bindy. It's not going to work for my needs.
