I was a little Leary about purchasing this I was worried it was going to be unsuitable for what I had initially purchased it for. That being said here is my opinion. It’s not made from thick or double walled metal. It’s on the thinner side of things not as thin as sheet metal duct work but it’s close! That’s not bad it makes it lighter weight but leaves it less sturdy. It has Sharp edges seriously watch yourself when handling this stuff because if you end up grabbing at it at the wrong angle, using too much force or speed and you grab the wrong part of it you can potentially end up getting a “Box Biteâ€. It has the potential to flip your relaxing evening sideways😳 and land you in a local 🧑ðŸ»â€âš•ï¸ðŸ©¹Hospital ER waiting room dripping 🩸crimson 🩸from a “SURPRISE !!!!🎉🎊 “ 🤦ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ™†ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸Laceration 🔪💥to your ✋ðŸ»ðŸ‘ˆðŸ» Bunch O’Fives ðŸ˜. In my excitement upon The Box’s Arrival and Debuting it to my Partner 😑 I actually did end up Snagging one of my wayward digits at a Pinch Point where the Lid and bottom body of the box meet via the lid hinge at the rear of the Box. Thank The Gods my brain figured out the danger when it felt the initial pressure of the lid starting to scissor down on my left index and middle finger. There was no spontaneous finger removal via Sunday afternoon “Surprise Guillotine†my ability to Five Finger Death Punch 🤜🻠remains intact 👉ðŸ»ðŸ¥·ðŸ»ðŸ‘ŒðŸ».This over all suits my purpose. But honestly this isn’t the kind of box that you want to keep expensive Ancient Gold Coins, Ghost Guns, Illegal Narcotics, or Your Collection Of Blood Diamonds stored in primarily. I actually purchased this to further secure my growing collection of Graded South African Gold & Silver Krugerrands. I padlocked this and placed it inside my 600lb Firearm storage Safe that two other people have access to, it’s a sort of an Added Second level of Private Secure Storage in an already secured storage vault. It wouldn’t be bad to throw in your vehicle for something not seriously valuable that you just didn’t want easily accessible if someone broke into your car. I plan on getting a couple more for my Jeep Gladiator and my significant other’s Dodge TRX. At this price point you can’t find anything else that matches this or comes close to being as secure. Buy one and try it out yourself I’m sure you’ll be happy with it overall but it’s not a serious Safe! Just watch the edges or you might end up deli slicering off a few digits…..

It looks amazing! My boyfriend is getting a new throwing knife collection and needs something to secure them in, I thought this would be perfect. It appears to be very sturdy, but a little smaller than I thought it would be. It’s wider than I thought, so it’ll hold a decent amount of knives/axes.

Bought a set of these to store things in a safe and the size is perfect for my needs. One of the boxes was bent on arrival and wouldn’t close properly without some effort. I decided it wasn’t worth the return and I will just deal with the closure issue. It’s not super sturdy but for an item that will sit on a shelf most of the time it’s fine. The size of the box was perfect and allowed me to fit several in the safe, side by side, so I bought another set. These definitely helped me organize my items. Overall, this was a good buy. Just wish they were a tad bit more sturdy and that the second box wasn’t so hard to close.

The latch broke easily so it won't lock, the edges are super sharp as well. Not a quality made product.

This a metal box with a padlock latch. It does what it’s supposed to I guess, but very poorly. However, this is not something that seems like it provides very much security whatsoever if you need to rely on it. This is not a “safe†as asserted in the description. The metal (of the entire container) is very flimsy. It seems like it could be bent easily. The hinge for the latch is also very thin and flimsy. If someone wanted to break into this it would probably take them 5 seconds. The fact that it even has a padlock latch is kind of a joke. Very poor durability, thickness and sturdiness. I would absolutely not lock anything valuable in this. The description states “Safely secure cash, jewelry, heirlooms, passports and other valuables in this metal locking box. Keep guns, knives or medication safely locked away from childrenâ€. That is a completely irresponsible claim and could lead to someone getting seriously injured. Amazon need to address this with the seller immediately. It might keep rodents and very small pets out, but that’s about it in my opinion. I’m going to use it to keep my art supplies in and that’s all. I do not recommend this product at all and please do not try to lock up valuables or items that could potentially be dangerous to others in this.

Bought these to keep meds in and lock shut. They are very sturdy and do the job well. They are a good size for prescription bottles, and you can keep quite a few in them!

We use these as a faraday cage for our key fobs at night. I lined the box with cardboard as an insulator. It works great! My iPhone doesn't receive calls in the box. With the key fob in the box, the car will not open and won't start when inside the car, so no RF communications are happening.It is handy to have by the door on a shelf. We just drop our keys in when we get home, and take them when on the way out the door.

Purchased to keep sharp knives away from children. Good sturdy box once it has a padlock on to keep it securely closed.
