There doesn't seem to be a lot of lock boxes out there that can actually be used with a padlock. This one does, and I can put 13 of them on there if I wanted! Perfect size for medication containers, etc. Very durable metal and sturdy handle. Great value for the price!

It is plain functional in design, can accommodate 13 padlocks, and comes with a heavy-duty safety latch to keep things locked until all the locks are removed.The ergonomic stainless steel handles make it easy to carry, and the rubber feet won't scratch surfaces. The bright red color and clear labeling make it easily identifiable, ideal for use in the workplace for safety. The hinge and lock holes are the correct size, and the hinge glides smoothly.A couple of small idiosyncrasiesรขโฌโsuch as slight misalignments in the handle and latchรขโฌโare non-functional but worth noting. Also, while holes for looking inside help prevent any keys from being left inside, some may prefer a completely covered design.Otherwise, it's a great lockout box for its price, with durability, security, and ease of use.

Besides the dense plastic handle - which is VERY sturdy btw - the entire thing is made of metal and quite heavy in the hands. Unfortunately, the handle on top is offset by about half an inch so it's not perfectly balanced. As for the latch on the side, the groove that fits over the lock loop on the bottom is also a tad offset so it rubs up against it every time. At first it seemed like a minor annoyance when I realized that it might in fact be a decent safety feature to prevent it flying up and unlatching when the lock was removed. Not bad, but it'll likely take some of the paint off over time.As for the box, the hinge is perfectly smooth and quiet and the metal is pristine all the way around. All of the holes on the top fit my LOTO locks perfectly and the bottom even features 4 excellent rubberized feet. Honestly, besides the slight offsets, I can't think of a single drawback with the design. It's essentially a perfect lock box for anything from dangerous goods to valuables around the house. Might even be fit for transporting small animals if humane disposal is your thing. Simple design and works well. 4.5/5 stars.

This fire engine red lock box is ideal to keep your valuables safe. There is a slot for coin insertion, multiple lockable points, a sturdy handle and rubber footies so the metal doesn't scratch other surfaces. The latch closes with a secure "snap" and the beehive set of holes on the opposite side lets you see what's inside. Two mounting holes are included on the inside bottom of the box to secure it to any surface. The only weak point I can see is the molded plastic handle--it doesn't compromise the security of the box contents, it would just look silly if the handle cracked or snapped off.Overall, a nice piece to keep your items locked down in plain sight.

This is a good quality "ammo box"-style metal LOTO box with provisions for over a dozen padlocks. The metal has no sharp edges, and the fit and finish are all very good and scream commercial-grade. The conspicuous red color and text make it clear what the box is even to the casual observer. I personally could've done without all the holes on the backside-- after all the locked out key or item probably doesn't need so much 'ventilation'.

Maybe I donรขโฌโขt understand the use of this, but why there are many holes to allow people seeing inside? The lock box itself is very sturdy. It is small but quite heavy for this size. The lock hole is around 9mm. However, there is some serious quality issue. The handle almost cut my finger as it was chipped. Otherwise, it is quite secure.
