These lock kits are quite well made. Although they do include some plastic, it is quite strong and seems reliable. I like that the set comes in a carry all bag and won't get confused or integrated with other parts in my tool box.A good set and a value for the money.

Everything is plastic on this kit. That may or may not be important to you. I like using these padlocks to help train myself in lockpicking while they aren't in use.

Nice kit with everything needed for lock out tag out. I really like the tags, they are not paper and they seem durable. Wrote with sharpie on them and erased with alcohol and they work great. The claps are solid metal and not thin and flimsy. The locks came with a pair of keys and they are decent quality as well. Really glad I got them.

This LOTO kit is a well supplied kit that will cover most LOTO applications. The locks are keyed individually and are smooth operating. It also comes supplied with two solid metal clasps and a plastic version. - The LOTO locks are good. It certainly does not have robust pick proof and I think it’s absolutely fine since the purpose is to prevent people from accidentally starting up the machine while it’s being repaired. Each mechanic or maintenance personnel would have his own LOTO lock and would put it on the machine to prevent accidental start up. That’s why there is really no need for pick-proof design because there is no theft prevention needed. And so if you’re looking to use this as a lock (to prevent theft), eg. locker, toolbox, you have to keep in mind that a theft with some knowledge of lock picking can pick the lock. Other than that, I have no problem using these locks as LOTO, but also as a common lock for my toolbox or locker at work, even as a luggage lock for check in luggages. Overall a nice set of LOTO locks that can be used for other purposes as well.
