The Loc-Line hose component is two hose segments made of blue acetal copolymer plastic for use with coolant. The acetal copolymer plastic resists corrosion and moisture and can be used with acetone, alcohol, ethyl, greases, oils, commercial dish detergents, gasoline, lacquer solvents, and sodium hydroxide. The component has a maximum operating temperature of 170 degrees F. The material meets National Sanitation Foundation (NSF)/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) 14, 51, and 61 specifications for use with drinking (potable) water, and complies with Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals (REACH) and Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards. The component connects to other Loc-Line components by a ball-and-socket design that snaps together for a tight seal.

I also used this to make helping hands. A 1/4 inch loc-line connector is screwed into a drilled and tapped cutting board, the loc-line snapped on, and a small alligator clip attached to the free end. I currently have five "helping hands" coming out of the same . The cutting board was drilled and then tapped with . I picked the alligator clips out of this For my initial versions, I just hot glued the clip to the smaller loc-lne nozzle. This will save you endless frustration. For my use, the cheap knockoffs work pretty well too, but I haven't peel hot glue off the yet or hit them with a soldering iron.. The loc-line brand is tough quality stuff though that that I have dripped hot glue onto, have dripped solder onto, and have bumped with the hot end of a soldering iron. The loc-line stuff is still fine after the abuse. Also, the knock-off I tested is not compatible with the loc-line brand. The loc-line has bigger balls on the segment ends.

Liked the quality. Used it for a flexible connection and it did the job!

I’m familiar with locline from CNC machines and aquariums so I recognized it immediately when looking at the extension rod and other pieces for our auxfun adult toy.I was unable to find the “Y” adapter online at a reasonable price or reasonable shipping time. So, I made my own.I used 5-minute epoxy, 1” shrink tubing, and 3XLR connectors I purchased on Amazon. The whole project was easy and relatively inexpensive. You don’t need the loc-line tool for one-time use but if you’re going to be taking things apart and putting them back together frequently I highly recommend it. It requires a fair amount of arm strength to get them together and a screwdriver to create leverage to pull them apart.

I used these to create a shield to protect viewers watching me work on my wood lathe. I use these for a variety of purposes from cooling to blowing air and now for this shield. Strong, handy, versatile.

Just as expected but best for stationary applications if you’re looking to move it around while water is flowing you will have some water leaking in the links

I use the blue to get my orange nozzles positioned where i want them in the tank. More than enough to get that done .

I use this hose and end fitting system to blow forced air on mills and drills machining plastics. It clears chips and extends cutter life by reducing heat buildup on the material(s) and cutter(s).The system's inexpensive assembly tool is necessary to assemble systems without losing a lot of skin and/or failing to assemble. Get the tool. This hose holds position well and adapted easily to my existing regulated air cooling system of a different manufacture, already in place. Should have started using this system 20 years ago. Worth every penny on day one. I use a .125" dia orifice and 90 to 100 psi, actuated by a foot pedal control for increased production efficiency.

Love these for coolant on my machinery. They stay put, and work great. Lots of tips and adapters to choose from. These are stiff to assemble without the tool, but it's possible.
