Not painful on your Archille's Tendon and solid stable anchor with which to do Nordic Curls, which are pretty tough to do, especially for beginners.I tried one of those doorway Sit-up / Nordic curl anchors, but it was tough on the Archille's Tendons and feet generally and I had no practical way of using resistance bands so I bought this anchor and attached it to a wooden stud in my wall underneath my squat / weight lifting / pullup rack so I could loop the resistance band on my pullup bar and finally get started on doing Nordic curls at home using this Nordic Curl / Sit-up wall anchor. It works great with no pain in my feet or Archille's even though they are supporting the force of my body's weight levering through Nordic Curl repetitions.It took 15 minutes to find the center of a wooden stud and mark it for my foot size and another 30 minutes to drill the starter holes for the anchor and use a wrench to screw the anchor tightly into the wooden stud.

This sit-up bar worked perfectly for me. It is built of solid welded metal and is simple in design. I did have to supplement my own mounting screws because the ones supplied were of low quality, but otherwise very happy with this item.

With some minor modifications to the pin holes on my Titan wall mounted pulley tower I was able to attach this as a leg holder. Seems solid so far, more use will hopefully show the same result. I may change out the foam pads with some that are covered in leather. I used my existing bench as the seat and two 3/8x 2 inch bolts with wing nuts to secure them. Took about 15 minutes to set up.
