This is not cheap but by just lifting the box (heavy), you realize it is worth it. It provides full spectrum sound and even shows you when it is decoding digital signals. It looks brand new rather than 'renewed'. It came in the original box and everything was packaged as it was originally. I even got the batteries for the remote all sealed in plastic. It more than replaced my THX Altec Lansing unit that died of old age.

Sounds amazing, great price. The previous owner dropped the bass taking it off of box. But everything was new. Gave it a little blemish. Not a deal breaker. It's for my bedroom anyway. The was a refurbished item. It has tremendous bass.Happy camper

Well, let me start with saying that is good I didn’t read the reviews here before buying this product. I bought it as soon as I saw the price, but then I noticed the bad reviews and I tried to cancel the order but it was to late, the speakers we’re already shipped. I get it yesterday and is nothing but excellent, they are like new, all speakers work flawlessly,m. The original box is not in perfect condition but I won't use the box, I will use the speakers so the condition of the box don’t matter to me. It sound really loud and powerful, plus I connected it in my Sound BlasterX G6 sound card and I only put it up to 20 and it was more than enough to shake my whole gaming room and my neighbor’s too. I don’t regret buying this speakers and much less for the price I get them. If y’all planning to buy this speakers at retail price it worth every penny. I highly recommend this speakers, you won’t regret it. Well, your neighbors will lol.

My issue isn't with the product, because Logitech makes good quality products. My issue is that i bought it used and the certificate of pre-owned promise from Amazon and seller don't meet the standard they promise, speakers was dent and dirt when I opened the box.

Just buy it? This thing rocks. I bought it for my TV. might be worth buying an audio optic cable. ( you can use one for this setup there is a connection) even though it’s meant for a pc. This unit will fill a large room with sound and the sub adds PLENTY of bass. My unit came with only one small dent to the subwoofer!

To start from the top, I had heard great things about these speakers and have always wanted a set to upgrade my gaming system's sound. I decided to get myself a Christmas gift and make the plunge, but Amazon didn't have any available new. I've had pretty good luck with Amazon Renewed products before, so I felt rather confident buying them this way.Turns out, I should have waited for the New product to get restocked.When they arrived, they were thrown in a box that wasn't heavy duty enough for the 32lb speaker set. It was mostly opened when it arrived. It had a couple of scraps of bubble wrap haphazard thrown inside and the speakers were all clunking together.The speakers themselves did not match the photo exactly where the logo was, but maybe they were a newer model. Some of them had chips in the finish, but no major dents, and they looked recently cleaned. Concerning was the sticker with the serial number on the back of the subwoofer, that looked fake. (The number was not, however, as I checked with Logitech. Honestly, it looked like something someone stuck on with glue.)Still, I made space for them and took a long time to set them all up, wires snaking behind bookshelves and hiding others behind my monitors. It LOOKED good, and I was pretty happy with the amount of space it took.I plugged it in, lights briefly came on the control unit and I heard a speaker click.....but that was it. The control unit only flickered lights 20% of the time I pressed the power button. There were no lights anywhere else on the system to see if it was getting power.I don't know if the control unit was the only issue, the wiring seemed intact, though I suppose the subwoofer could have had an issue - which may be the most likely thing considering the poor packaging.Fortunately, with a renewed product I can still return it. It was a bit of a pain to package back up....I used the same box they shipped it in for lack of a better one, but more padding and much more tape to hold it all together.Fairly disappointed. I saw they restocked the new models, but am awaiting my refund first. Hopefully they are still available once this issue is behind me.Would I recommend the speakers? Yes, I have heard them in person before. The speakers would get a five star normally.Would I recommend purchasing them this way? No.This is one of the few times where New is your best bet for value.

This Logitec Surround Sound System works really well. However, just be aware that it is designed for gamers and so should ideally be connected to a PC gaming system rather than be used as a true "home theater system". Even so, it is very good value for the money and works great. I just think the ad should be clearer so that the buyer knows what they are getting and doesn't have any connectivity issues. All-in-all a very good system for the price!

I have two of these. One I bought brand new a couple of years ago when they were $349. Logitech suddenly raised the price to $499. This 5.1 surround is not worth that much money. The second set I bought was a refurbished version. I got an extended warranty in case something goes wrong. Big fan of how these sound. But whatever you do do not pay retail for them. They are not worth that much.

The refurbished product I got for rs18900 had no remote with it and one wire is missing. I have placed for return . Else the product is fine with one small scratch. What's the point of refurbished if missing parts. The price is also quite high compared to lighting deal price 19999. Better to wait for offer.
