This “blanket†is very soft but that is the only good thing about it. The fabric is thin and the size is more like a small beach towel. (It was mistaken for one upon opening). If I had time to return before Christmas, I would have gladly done so. As is, I had to make apologies for an over priced disappointing item to a proud cadet grandmother.

If you look close you can see the color is just on the surface, and the fabric is white under the top color and the back. I washed this and still looks good and even got a little fluffier. Its thin, but perfect as a throw. Not big enough to use as a bed blanket.We have the green for my Husband and got the yellow for his little sister who is starting as a freshman this year!
