I have a few old Ford F-150 trucks for work.These are great trucks,but they have a few annoying problems,one of which is a oil dipstick tube that rusts out where it passes through the exhaust manifold. This happens every 3-5 years...and is very difficult to replace without pulling the oil pan...which also is an extremely difficult job(on a 4x4). After the second replacement rusted through I found this fantastic product.Fit like a charm, looks great,seems like very high quality materials and looks to be impervious to rust....I hope.I am very happy with this MADE IN THE USA product.Fit my 1995 Ford F150 w/5.0 engine perfectly.

Aftermarket headers might give you issues. Mine i almost could not install due to clearance issues. It was touching exhaust a bit and instructions state it must not. So after 2 hours I managed to get it cleared but its angled back against firewall and a pain to check oil now but manageable. Unless you have stock headers, it will be a pain to install.

Great quality and super easy install. A must have if you are installing long tube headers. I wasted a ton of time trying to bend the original tube and fit it back in the block until I finally broke it. Installed this one in about 15 minutes.

I have a Ford ranger V8 conversion with a double sump oil pan & the original timing cover location would not give an accurate reading. This dipstick was exactly what I needed. It's low profile design fits perfectly between the drivers side header pipes & looks great!

Better off with a steel handle, the aluminum transfers the heat to your hands too efficiently making it hot to the touch even after some time to cool down!

Does not fit my 89 302. The width of the end won't even go into the hole the old one came out. Used micrometer and it is bigger dimension than the old stock tube, slightly but still to big diameter to fit. Back to searching for another.
