Your cart is empty.Lokar Hi-Tech Kickdown Kit for ford C-6 Transmission is designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable, not to be confused with ordinary brake hose. The kickdown features aluminum fittings with ferrule to eliminate frayed cable ends. The kickdowns are adaptable for all types of manifolds including tunnel ram, blower manifolds and Weber induction systems. The kickdown can be mounted with Lokar's stainless steel carburetor bracket and return springs (which are sold separately). All units are available in black housing upon special request. It has complete instructions which are included in the kit.

After installation of my Sniper EFI I needed to fit up the linkage. Looked at Lokars products and they looked very nice. Purchased both throttle and kickdown cables. Installation was very simple. They perform great and look very good. For all my cable needs going forward I will look no further than Lokar!

Used on a 1981 F100 L6 with a C6 transmission. Perfect fit to the 4V Offenhauser intake with Holley 390 cfm.

cable worked well installed on an 84 bronco, much better than fords original design. mounted just as described on trans. had to drill extra holes in stock throttle cable bracket to get it ligned up with edelbrock but it worked. if i was to do it over i would order the new cable bracket from lokar as well

I had to do some alterations to my set up, seems the pic,s show the linkage on the right side of my tranny, mine , and most all American v-8's are on the left side so I had to do some bending, get the throttle cable bracket and cable too.
