Your cart is empty.Lokar Hi-Tech Kickdown Kit for ford FMX Transmission is designed with a specially extruded liner for extended life of the cable, not to be confused with ordinary brake hose. The kickdown features aluminum fittings with ferrule to eliminate frayed cable ends. The kickdowns are adaptable for all types of manifolds including tunnel ram, blower manifolds and Weber induction systems. The kickdown can be mounted with Lokar's stainless steel carburetor bracket and return springs (which are sold separately). All units are available in black housing upon special request. It has complete instructions which are included in the kit.

Fit and works well for my 68 Cougar with an FMX and 302.

Super nice cable, I may be wrong but I ended up with the throttle cable too, it just seemed easier to make everything work. So it ended up being a pretty expensive set up, but looks really nice and works well. Just a heads up and research before, to see if you need the throttle cable and bracket, or if you can just get away with the kickdown.
