I liked the different sizes, lengths and colors of the leads. I have a strong mixed pitty dog and no yard so I was able to take her out for exercise in leash restricted parks with ball retrieving and also able to let her have more leash when walking. Having a snap on both ends makes it easier to work the dog as I could use the handle end to snap around my waist/butt leaving my throwing hand free to toss the ball and feed the rope out and pull it back in. Plus she pulls hard so it is no problem trying to hold rope with hand and having pet pull on your arm and hands. I wear "work out" gloves to prevent rope burn which happens frequently with the flat nylon leads. Doesn't take long to a tire dog out running 50 feet to get the ball!

This is perfect for our dogs! Sometimes we'll put a dog on each end. Works that way too! It sturdy and has held up well, and it's used a lot!

The only thing I can say is they need to put a better quality clip end on this. The ones that came with the rope are failing. Breaking. But the rope is still in great shape.

Used a steel cable with the last dog for our walks, so using a cord where the outer sleeve slips feels weird. Been trying get over it, since the dog loves it. The 6 month old pit/Belgium mal runs up and down the sides of the canal behind our house. Hoping to get him fully trained before turning him loose, but glad I took the plunge and bought the check cord. It works well with the harness, especially when he needs an assist to make it up over the concrete walls - less and less each day. There is an occasional snag in the bushes and tall weeds, but easy enough to release the check cord and pull it through.update: Product was great, in all the time I used it, only had one knot to undo. The check cord was dragged in dirt and sand everyday for 2 to 4 miles, and drenched in canal or river water. The cord was a pain to clean, but held up well. The metal clasp fell off. The new check cord is vinyl, but I find myself untangling the knots all the time. When we wear this one out, I will be buying another one of these.

If you're like me and originally used one of those metal dog tie-offs, and are sick of not only how it looks, but how it gets all bent out of shape and messed up, stop looking further, this is the purchase for you. This rope for your dog is perfect. It's very strong, and seems like it would take a lot to show signs of falling apart. I have a 4 year old black lab that weighs about 50 pounds, and it's perfect for her. However my dog is pretty chill and doesn't typically pull but rather just chills in the backyard. It's perfect for peace of mind. With that being said, my mom loved it so much she bought two more to give to my sister for her two dogs which ARE total spazzes and go crazy in the backyard. One of her dogs is about the same size as mine, and the rope holds her off very well. I've only heard good things about it from her.

Accidentally chewed up my last tie-out with the LAWN MOWER (ha). This is great! Even better than my last. Has 2 hooks on both ends AND also had a hand loop so you could also use it as a leash!BONUS: also came with a small portable doggy doo-doo holder AND doo bags that can attach to tie-out on your walks! AWESOME & BEST PRICE on Amazon!5 stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

Good leash except the swiveling latch breaks after some time -- while walking my dog. This seems to happen with several leashes I've had regardless of vendor. The dog is not pulling, it just separates, fortunately when the dog does not see deer. I've chosen to attach the leash to the harness using a quick link (fence item) and just leave it there. It doesn't rotate but that doesn't seem to matter.

I tried a 50 foot tape style lead and it was to heavy and dragged more on the surface so I decided to give this one a try. It's light weight and strong. It's a good length for handling, not to over whelming. I have 2 of them and use them for the 2 - 20 pound pups we have. It gives them enough length to do their zoomies.Update : I decided to purchase the 12 foot leads as well. I liked them so much. I do use a rubber band to help secure the clip from any accidents with the clip opening. I use it to walk with them and then give them some space to play. I don't have a yard so it is the next best thing to letting them enjoy their walk and play together if they want. We still have the 20 foot and still use it. We have had it for about 6 months now and they have held up good with every day use. My one dog likes to grab a hold of the other dogs lead to encourage him to play more. She will actually tug on him while sitting down until he gets up and plays.

Malgré un prix laissant penser que c'est une corde de grande qualité, c'est une toute petite (diamètre) corde comme on en retrouve à 10$ au Home Dépot. Beaucoup trop chère pour ce que c'est. La finition des oeuillets est belle par contre.
