This isn’t the pool noodle stuff. High density, high quality roll bar padding. Great for those of us who need the extra space since it only provides protection on one side of the bar.The adhesive is great ONLY for holding pad in place while you secure it with zip ties. One session on track and the heat ruins the adhesive. It won’t stay in place for long unless you secure it some other way, which you should be doing anyway. You really can’t expect the adhesive to hold the pad in place during a collision, and if you think that’s possible, you probably shouldn’t be in a race car to begin with.

2 sticks worked perfectly to fully cover the main hoop on a Hard Dog M2 Hard Core Double Diagonal (1.75" tubing) for the Miata, with a little left over on each. I started close to the center of the main hoop with the finished ends, leaving space for a GoPro mount in the middle of the bar, and cut about 12-14 inches from the ends above the seat belt guides. The little cutoffs were perfect to pad the diagonals in the middle, since those also may be helmet contact points. The material cuts easily and cleanly, and curved around the bends well with some gentle heat gun assistance. Some of the adhesive did come off with the backing, but I used big 1/4" wide zip ties, so no worries about it coming up. This is not SFI rated, but is about the same firm material and suits the purpose of proper roll bar padding for track days.

I have a 1970 Pro Street Challenger with a 6 point cage. These fit very cool. The car has not even been out of the shop yet and one side fell off. I will use some stronger glue and reattach.

The package arrived broken. No real fault of the product but it was broken. I needed it installed so I just made adjustments with what was left. Would have been nice to have the extra coverage though. I put this on the B-pillar where my head was within contact range in extreme movements. The adhesive is almost not worth the trouble but it did help hold it in place while I used tactical zipties to affix more securely.I kinda wish the pad was softer but it is definitely softer than DOM tubing haha. The flat spot on the pad will help distribute the point pressure as well.

Worked aka passed inspection for 24 Hours of Lemons. I use several large zip ties to keep it in place.

These are not only rock solid hard but they leave the absolute worst residue!! I have never seen something so bad. It’s like super glue!! Took me an hour to remove it off 1 roll bar. Not to mention these things are almost as hard as the rollbar itself. Worthless POS product

Great product with stick on backing. Used on my race car roll bar that is 1.5" diameter. Race rule is harder rubber must be used near your Helmut, this is the stuff
