This works great. Your cap will get cleaned without you having to worry about it getting misshaped. I have ruined many caps until I decided to purchase this and it worked well. The only thing I would recommend is that you scrub heavily soiled areas before placing in the product, if you don’t, it might not clean really well. Don’t get me wrong, it will clean your cap, but if you spot clean it, it will work better.

My girlfriend got this to help keep the shape of her hats when she's putting them through the washing machine & dryer! She originally bought a similar product for washing her hats on Amazon but it only came with the frame, but a part of the frame somehow melted in the washing machine/dryer (don't remember which one). Not sure how this happened. Also, clothes would get tangled up in it and she wasn't happy. It would stretch out the arms of her shirts if it got tangled and obviously no one wants that! She loves the mesh covering on this hat because it's an extra protective layer, while the frame keeps the shape of her hats and now clothes don't get tangled in it either like it was happening before! It's a more well thought out product than the one we used before and we are very happy with this!

Does not hold hat shape in the washer. The half mooned shaped hat support comes apart in the wash. ugh.UPDATE: I'm going to crazy glue it on and then it will stay. Was going to send it back but thought of that and it's not going anywhere. That is my solution I hope it is yours. But will leave it a one star because that should come already affixed not us doing the job to put it together. Please fix this issue many people probably want to get this. if you the company will crazy glue these together, I think you will make more sales. Word of mouth is how we do it.Be blessed everyone.

A great idea and this version of that idea appears to be well made and was well priced. However the only time I have used it the frame came partially apart in the washer. It still did a good job though and my cap came out fine. I believed I had it all snapped together well but you never know so it might have been user error. I haven't had a chance to try it a second time. I would buy it again.

It gets the job done, but it has a screw that comes unscrewed every time we put it in the wash, which causes the whole thing to come apart. It keeps the shape of the hat, but it falls apart. So effective, but could be better.

This is for use in your washing machine (not dishwasher, like other designs). It works fine. To avoid damage to the hat, I put other items in the wash for cushioning and use a gentle cycle. Let it air dry afterwards.

I’ve been throwing away caps for years. Wasting money, like most bored capitalist. If the brim was sweaty then to the trash it went. Other cap holders never fit the cap base. And the net bag this comes with, shaped like a cap, it thick and soft enough to keep the cap from rubbing and snagging on other clothes. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Works better than those cage types. Doesn't leaves lines from the "cage bars".Used it in dishwasher with good results on a really dirty cap.

Be careful! The cover sleeve does not keep the hat affixed to the hat skeleton! The hat did not keep its structure
