I used these with the Lontan soft close drawer slides and they worked great. They are heavy duty and hold the drawer slides very well. They are easy to install, and give the drawer a very solid feel. I’d buy them again when needed

I've replaced all 25 drawer glides in my home with the 18" & 22" versions of the Lontan guides and I am very happy with the results.Theses are heavy duty and probably overkill for just about any kitchen/bathroom application but if you want to fill up a drawer with stack of plates or every cast iron pan in your kitchen, these are up for the task.Assuming correct installation, they start out a little stiff due mostly to the preinstalled lube in the ball bearing races. Once broken in with regular use, they will soften up.Don't forget the matching rear mount brackets as these are big time savers.

12/19/2022Replacement (a new pair) was received and installed. No issue noted. I am happy with the warranty response from the seller. Will update for the longevity review later.****************************I went thru pages of review and QAs on various sellers and ended up bought it from this one. 10pairs for 10 drawers. I received it on Sat. and immediately get on it for installation. The package is well packed - all 10 pairs fit in a good carton box. Each pair has individual package as well. I carefully opened each of them to inspect for the soft closing and self closing mechanism to ensure I don't waste time install a bad one that needs to be removed later. All are good at this point, however, one slide has a ball bearing pops out at the middle of installation. Wrote to the seller (Sunday). Hope to hear back from them soon.Installation is fairly easy. My cabinet has frame and has the Euro style slides and the drawer is 5/8" thick, so I have to use the old screws since the screws that come with it is a tap longer for drawer. A bit of advice is to buy one of those slide jig. They come in really handy. Once the slide jig is set, all I have to do is to double check the levelness between slides, and make sure they are in parallel. Then mark the line for the rear bracket (bought it from the same seller too). then secure the bracket. That's it. I am doing it the first time, and 9 drawers in 2 days, could have been 10 but one slide is defect. The hardest part for me was when I try to put screw to the bracket. The screw keeps dropping from my drill bit. I spent lots of time find the screw, refit screw to the drill bit and carefully extend my arm thru the cabinet to put screw in. The 23" depth cabinet is not helping in this situation either. The drawer slides are all self closing and soft closing. Slide will pull itself back in on the last inch or so of the movement when closing. For opening, some of them are a tap stiffer than others when opening, but all are pretty acceptable. Once drawer overcome the force, it will glide right out smoothly. I do, however, find that the second section of slide extender is a bit more stiff then the first - just in case you are not familiar, this full extension slide has two extender. I am hoping they will get better overtime. Now the question for me will be - how long will they last....For anyone that is considering this kind of project, I would say don't wait - just do it. You will love the soft close and self closing drawer.I will update how my warranty request goes later.

Pros: Very simple update to our kitchen. Great quality. I jokingly describe them as hard close slides because they stop me from slamming them shut like I used to. A bit of a learning curve for me. I have to deliberately guide them all the way closed or they stop. My husband finds this as a pro... me not so much lolCons: listing want very clear that they didn't come with the mounting brackets. We figured it out once it arrived and had to place order for brackets which delayed our project.

Great movement on the slides, very smooth and very stiff in the direction of drawer load. Great product. But I wanted to talk about the mounting screws for the next guy that's wondering. It comes with a fair amount of 5/8" long steel flat head screws. They protrude from the slide .54" to the tip. This means if you are using 1/2" thick material for the drawers (which is really 15/32") all the screw points Will come thru.So use 5/8 or 3/4 for your drawer material here, or buy #6x1/2" long pan head screws to get the right depth.PS- I also bought the extenders to mount to the back of the cabinet and those are very strong with a great tight fit!

These are of good enough quality, but they have a critical defect that makes all of us in the house incredibly mad. We don't have handles on our drawers, so we tend to grab the drawer from the sides. These are so difficult to pull on, that we tend to grab from the bottom. If you do, and the drawer lifts even slightly, the left side soft-close doesn't fully extend, and retracts back into its normal place. This means the right hand one does all the work. And when the drawer closes, it's not all the way closed, so you have to push it closed. EVERY SINGLE ONE does this. It's infuriating to the point where I'm looking into replacing all of them, but what a waste. I do hope the manufacturer reaches out about the problem.

I cannot recommend these slides. They seem sturdy enough but the effort it takes to close them, you may as well leave your original slides on..To install them you have to be dead nuts on or they will not operate correctly and most cases will not even close. I work construction so am use to measuring things close. If the are off even 1/32" of an inch they won't operate. The slides themselves seem really stiff, hard to open and one almost has to slam them to get where the self closing mechanism engages. I installed 11 of these and all but one are not as I would like. There is no smooth glide to any of the 11 either. The mechanism engages at a roughly 1-1/2" from the cabinet face.As far as the 100LB limit goes, I would doubt they would work at all. We have an appliance cabinet that has maybe 45 LBS in it and It is a struggle for it to close. One would be better off to spend the money on high end slides instead.

I ordered 30 of the 24’’ and 20 of the 14’’. When I received them I checked them all for quality of assembly and to see if the soft close worked properly. Everything was perfect and well lubricated. The little pin for the soft close is metal. I’m glad I bought them.

The plastic soft close mechanism broke before installation was finished. I was VERY careful. But the plastic just failed. The product description said it had been upgraded with metal. But this is NOT TRUE.

It's always takes a good tug to open the drawers and you have to give a good push to ensure it closes all the way. This get annoying after a while.
