The switch seems to work perfectly and the fit was exact. Installation was tricky because of lack of instructions available online, so I ended up breaking two small tabs on one of the cover plates but that seemed to be common. The price and value are unbeatable. Great for the DIY'r. I am sure to have a tech change this out would be at least $150 or more!

Replaced the switch in our Lg fridge water dispenser. It had gotten to the point where the switch was corroded causing the water to get stuck running- which is not what you want.Was slightly difficult getting inside the door to replace the switch, but once the key pad was removed, it was easy. Glad to spend a few bucks instead of needing a whole new door or the pay someone to come replace it for me. Way to go YouTube and Amazon!

My ice/water dispenser was stuck in the "on" position when the switch failed. A quick online search showed me how to replace it. Some home repair sites were charging twice the price for a single switch. This Amazon retailer ships two switches for one low price. I figured I would hold on to the spare in case the new replacement failed in the future. Then another appliance (air fryer) stopped working. Surprisingly, the switch that failed in the air fryer was the same type. I was able to repair the ice dispenser AND my air fryer using the 2-for-1 deal I got when purchasing this item. Luck happens (sometimes) and this was one of those lucky day things for me. Anyway, the switch works great on both appliances.

I ordered this switch for my LG refrigerator ice dispenser. It fit and works like a charm! I got lucky when a serviceman for my dishwasher showed me how to get the panel off the refrigerator and then tested the switch (we were waiting for the dishwasher to complete a cycle before he left) in hopes of narrowing it down to the problem I was having. He was right, it was the switch. A quick search on Amazon using the model and serial number of my fridge and I was looking at switches. A couple of clicks and $13 later, I had 2 new switches coming to me with delivery the next day. I am one happy woman!!!!

This worked fix my ice dispenser in my 10 year old fridge. Like many others, it would work inconsistently. Corroded contacts were the issue. Mine contacts ended up breaking when I tried to clean them, hence the replacement.
