My daughter absolutely loved setting this up! She loves cats and the sand made it easy for the accessories to stay where they needed to be. When this arrived, I thought it was just such a great idea to have a lid to contain all of the sand, and all the accessories were such a nice touch. When I saw comparable items in the stores they weren’t as big or as much of a value.

This is a wonderful sensory toy for kids who like dogs. Helps with fine motor skills, too. The “sand†is super soft — but sticks together well for play. The dog figures are cute and sturdy. The container it comes in is durable and a great size for pieces. My one complaint is that some of the plastic accessory pieces are cheaply made and wouldn’t hold up for some users. This is particularly true of the rake, shovels, molds, and the plastic doors. Overall, it’s a fun gift — as long as the kid can fairly gently play with some of the accessories.
