I purchased this for its dimensions, to use for car camping; most camping pads are far too long for my Mazda CX-30. This is PERFECT. Very comfortable, and works for anyone who’s 5’2 or shorter. It was extremely easy to inflate and deflate and is very comfortable. The storage bag is extremely helpful and has plenty of room— it isn’t the least bit difficult to stuff the mattress inside. The first inflation took 30+ minutes to inflate, and I still needed to use the storage bag to finish inflating. However, the following inflations took only 5-10 minutes to do by unrolling it & barely involves the bag, and takedown takes five minutes. Storage and weight wise, it’s too large to use for backpacking/hiking, but perfect for car camping or kids sleepovers, etc. Easy to carry around for short distances (1/2 mile or less). HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Note: can’t sit up in the car, but plenty of room to lay or raise your head a good 7 inches.

The size fit my cot perfect. Lightweight, easy to unpack. Love the bag and carry handle on it. The bag is plenty big enough so when rolling the mat back up, it still fits. It self inflates, but the bag also serves as a pump. The instructions are on the bag. My husband has a bad back and this is for guests or emergencies when we need to go to the basement for tornados. We left it to self inflate on one, and the other we added more air using the bag after it self inflated. My husband liked the self inflated one the best that didn't have added air to it. The valve seems vert sturdy and the material the whole thing us made out of is top notch. It doesn't squeek or crinkle or make noise when you move. I got this for the delicious 4.5 inches thickness and the R rating. Would definitely recommend. I got the electric pump for quicker deflating time. It does take effort to deflate but I don't mind because of the comfort and it's not something I gotta do every day. Most definitely you get value for your money. I wish I had these years ago.

Comfy for a side sleeper. The bag works great for inflating the mattress, and is oversized making packing a breeze

I got this pad for when sleeping in the back of my Jeep with my dog. It is comfortable and warm (although I'm not sure I believe the R13 rating). It is larger than my backpacking pads, but that's okay for my use case for use in a vehicle. It takes a bit of work to deflate and pack up, but not terribly different from other self inflating pads.I do put a blanket over it to protect it from the dog's nails. The biggest issue I have is that the darn dog seems to think it's for her and pushes me off it.

If you're considering this sleeping pad, just get it! It makes camping feel incredibly comfortable. My boyfriend sleeps on a cheap cot with a self-inflating mat and wakes up with back pain every morning. He's hesitant to switch because he thinks this pad is too bulky to store. But the Horizon sleeping pad has been a game-changer for me. It’s super comfortable, thick, and I’ve never felt any rocks or ground debris underneath, even when placed directly on the tent floor. It inflates quickly—whether using an air pump or the included bag—and deflates just as easily. It holds air all night and is totally worth the space it takes up. It does exactly what it claims to do. Don't hesitate to buy it!

This mattress pad is amazing. I won’t use anything else now. No more hassles of your air mattress going flat during the night! I’ve used this pad on a cot (picture one) and in my car (picture two) and got great sleep. I did not have to add air to the pad after opening the valve to inflate either (but I do weight 120#). My 200# found it comfortable as well.To comment on deflating, I have absolutely no problem removing the air. No need for a pump, seriously. Treat it like a sleeping bag. I roll it 3 separate times to remove air with the valve turned to deflate. On the third roll, it’s completely deflated and fits back in the bag easily.It is pretty large when rolled and stowed, but no worse than a conventional air mattress. It’s also much lighter! (Picture three of it in my car- the blue bag on the left).Vehicle is a GX 460 for reference.I would buy this again and again. Fantastic sleep pad.

Inflates easily and is great for the car camper, bag it comes in can be used to inflate it just that little bit extra, the only thing that looses a star is it is not very easy to roll back up it takes a bit of hand strength to keep the roll small enough to get it back into the bag, other than that I highly recommend.
